All black and denim everything. That is the modus operandi of my skirt collection; though even my wardrobe is known for partaking in brief flings with sequins {hello, magpie tendencies!}, and bold prints {like vintage cars swirling in candy colors} every now and again.

A sweater sporting a subtle slouch in a neon-pink hue tempers the short hemline of the mini, while accentuating the playful, California vibe of the vintage Impala print; and lace-up stilettos {black in the front, floral in the back} infuse your look with a kick of sophistication, sprinkled with a dash of sass. Go modern with your accessories, opting for a transparent clutch to hold your lusts and musts, a simple {yet sleek} hinged cuff {made edgy and glamorous with semi-precious stone spikes}, and architectural dangling earrings. A bright pink pout ties it all together. Why? Today…pink is everything.

I'm not usually one for stripes, but I've been living in this SO Striped Sweater from Kohl's {Pssst...I love the pink}. And, of course, my Stuart Weitzman Spats Boots. P.S. Gypsy says hello...she has a habit of photo-bombing me.

{muse of the moment} rosie huntington-whiteley

Ordinarily, I am a total creature of habit; but when it comes to street style inspiration, I seamlessly slip into the role of complete fly by night.

It’s not that I’m unfaithful in the fashion {or any other} department. Quite the opposite, in fact. Two years since purchase, and my Ivanka Trump boots are still in my wardrobe repertoire; and don’t even get me started on my loyalty to a certain Maybelline Lip Product.

But I digress… I merely have a tendency to grow out of love with certain styles and people over time - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley excluded. Her lust for layers {vest crushing in progress}, bevy of beautiful boots, and overall bohemian tendencies are a never-ending form of allure to my style psyche - I'm sure you can see why...

NOTD: Julep Michelle

One coat of Julep Michelle. Navy Blue Crème.

Personal opinion… the nail polish world is seriously lacking in the navy blue department; but Julep’s Michelle definitely makes up for it {hello, one-coater here!}. While deep crimsons and plums oftentimes take on a gothic / vampy look that can be a bit rebellious, Michelle tends to veer more towards the sophisticated spectrum due to the dusty undertones of the color. I love pairing this shade with casual denim; but it is an incredibly smart, office-appropriate shade for those who want a color with more personality than, say, a soft pink.

P.S. Apologies that my hand looks deathly pale in these pictures; it was overcast out when I took them, and the result was...corpse-like. Ho hum...

The comings and goings of Fashion Week intrigue me just as much as the decadence deemed worthy of the runway. The Glossy Editor’s sashaying to-and-from the shows in their tulle skirts and teetering heels; jumpsuits and shirt dresses. Ah, the shirtdresses… I favor comfort in dress {though my predilection for four-inch and up heels reflects the very opposite in terms of footwear}; therefore, printed shirtdresses play a starring role in many of my fashion fantasies due to their seamless ability to meet both chic and comfortable quotas.

A wide belt {metallics look incredible paired with the sheen of silk, or a stronger shade} nips in the waist to highlight your femininity; while antique silver accessories in the form of an intricate choker and chunky crystallized cuff add a slightly gothic splash of sparkle. Allow your pedicure to play a glamorous game of peek-a-boo via an unexpected leather ankle boot featuring raffia and mesh panels; and toss your essentials into an ebony-hued fold over clutch {that can be worn folded or unfolded}. Complete your look du jour with a swipe {or two!} of rosy lipstick and voila! You’re glam to go.

{what to wear} pyjama party

pajama wish list
Alöe Raspberry Crepe Peony Embroidered Pyjamas + Poplin Red Trim Grace Pyjamas + Alöe Black Crepe Peony Embroidered Pyjamas + Poplin Pink Stripe Iris Pyjamas + Poplin Navy Silk Audrey Pyjamas

Contrary to what many believe, while I scarcely leave the house without first slipping my foot into a shoe sporting no less than a 4-inch heel, pyjamas are, indeed, one of my very favorite accoutrements; and I relish slow-paced Saturday and Sunday mornings when I can languor in them all day - an enticing book in hand. That said, fashionistas rarely take a break from style; therefore, luxury pyjamas that are equal parts cute and comfy are par for the course. Naturally, a pyjama wish list {starring ultra-dreamy sleepwear} was necessary.

There is the Alöe Crepe Peony Embroidered Pyjamas. The raspberry shade for those moments when I'm feeling flirty; the black hue for those times when I want to project mystery. The Poplin Pink Stripe Iris Pyjamas are an essential for channeling my inner Eloise {a turtle named Skipperdee by my side, and a suite at The Plaza being the two remaining objects I need to fulfill this fantasy}. Brunch in bed with a stack of glossies call for the presence of the Poplin Red Trim Grace Pyjamas. And for sophistication? Well, it's impossible to feel anything but in the Poplin Navy Silk Audrey Pyjamas. After all, they share a name with one of the most sophisticated women who ever lived...Audrey Hepburn.

What are your requirements for the perfect pair of pyjamas? Luxury, comfort, glamour...do tell.

je t'aime

Long before I discovered the miraculous powers of eye makeup,
my everyday beauty routine generally consisted of lip gloss, lip gloss, and more lip gloss {as you
can probably tell, I have a thing for shimmery, glossy goodness}
.

Though I now have a virtual beauty department in my bathroom {consisting of everything from
nail polish and eyeshadow palettes to mascara, eyeliner, and a rainbow-color assortment of lipstick},
my love for lip gloss has remained unchanged. So of course I immediately said yes when EnvyDerm offered me the chance to try their Lip Volumizing and Conditioning Plumper.

I received the Je T'aime shade which is a strawberry red shimmer that is just red enough to add
color to your face, without leaving the non-red wearer {of which I count myself} cowering in fright.

I have tried many plumping/volumizing glosses in the past, and some can be offensive in feel and flavor.
I found that EnvyDerm's Lip Volumizing and Conditioning Plumper didn't fall into this trap.
While I do tend to feel a slight tingling on my lips for about 5 minutes after application, it isn't an uncomfortable feeling;
and the fact that it is coupled with a vibrant Spearmint flavor makes it more of a
just-brushed-your-teeth tingle, as opposed to a bee-stung tingle.

My two favorite aspects of this product are the applicator - a clawfoot-esque wand that has more of a flat, paddle shape which allows you to spread the product more evenly over your lips; and the packaging/tube itself.
This is one of those designer-like lip gloss tubes that make you feel luxurious simply by pulling it out of your makeup bag.

I have only used this product a handful of times, so I can't say whether I've seen any plumping action going on; but I do feel that my lips are far more hydrated and softer than before.
And for that moisturizing-effect alone, I can't help but to give this product two {well-manicured} thumbs up.

Have you tried EnvyDerm's Lip Volumizing and Conditioning Plumper? Thoughts?

champagne cocktail wishes and caviar dreams...

"What is a cocktail dress?"
"Something to spill cocktails on."

cocktail wishes
1. Silk Chiffon Watercolour Dress + 2. Iridescent Chiffon Side-Drape Dress + 3. Silk Chiffon Watercolour Dress + 4. Printed Silk Chiffon Swing Dress + 5. Silk Chiffon Cocktail Dress

There are few soirees that I crave invites to; the sole exclusion being that of cocktail parties. No, it has absolutely nothing to do with the promised cocktails, or expected finger foods; rather, it has everything to do with designer cocktail dresses. The selecting, the trying on, and, ultimately, the buying {my favorite part}.

Each step in the process comes attached to its own type of thrill, bringing you one moment closer to the time when you can finally slick on a pretty lip color, fasten on glittering false lashes {for those extra special occasions}, and slip into the flirty frock du jour for an evening of showing off chatting with our charming cohorts in a sophisticated setting.

At the moment, my cocktail party card is empty; but I'm in the mood for wishing, so I've constructed une petite list featuring five pieces of chic that are currently on my radar - 1. Silk Chiffon Watercolour Dress + 2. Iridescent Chiffon Side-Drape Dress + 3. Silk Chiffon Watercolour Dress + 4. Printed Silk Chiffon Swing Dress + 5. Silk Chiffon Cocktail Dress. Why yes...it would appear that I have a bit of a crush on chiffon {at least for today}.

Which one is your favorite? {Pssst...it's okay to love them all}.

Herve Leger. The name simply rolls off the tongue, accompanied by visions of come-hither hemlines, and the type of Old-Hollywood elegance that manages to perfectly infuse seduction with sophistication; especially when coated in avant-garde metallic brushstrokes, and swiftly morphing from signature bandage to flirty flare.

Toughen up the golden girl vibe by pairing it with stiletto caged heels {Unexpected? Yes. Chic? Most definitely}; and topping it with a leather biker jacket {leave it partially zipped, creating an hourglass shape at the waist, while allowing your admirers to see a peek of metallic about the chest}. Keep the juxtaposition between rugged and delicate going in your makeup look, balancing a strong smoky eye with a romantic rosy lip, and a kiss of peachy / pink / coral blush. The ‘do? Sleek, shiny, straight strands. They’re more rebellious than a chignon or topknot, and couple glamorously with a smoky gaze.

NOTD: Essie Play Date

Two coats of Essie Playdate. Flirtatious, soft purple from the Go Overboard! Collection.

There are some nail colors that you purchase because of their too-cute-to-resist name, and others that you purchase for their seriously pretty color. For me, Playdate was purchased for both. The name itself has a coquettish kick that I wasn't going to even attempt to ignore; but the color...prettiness to the tenth power! What I love {and I mean LOVE} about Playdate is that it is definitely a pastel purple {perfect for spring}, but it also has an incredible neon undertone that adds this vibrant pop, making it wearable {and totally appropriate} through the summer months. Color aside...the formula was perfect - not streaky, not watery, just smooth and even. A definite must if your collection is lacking a purple!

lust for lolly

I am the Queen of Basics.
My closet is literally filled to the brim with t-shirts and tank tops in every. single. color. imaginable.
To some, that may sound boring, but I like extreme wearability in my wardrobe, and find that basics allow that. Plus, they work amazingly well for layering and accessorizing - especially with scarves.

Scarves are one of my fashion fundamentals, but...I own less than seven {sad, I know}. Needless to say, my collection needs a little lot of growth, so of course I jumped at the chance to add a new one to my stockpile from LOLLY.

I crushed on Caroline; admired Alexandra; swooned over the suspense and mystery of Julianne; and, ultimately fell head over heels for Lorraine.

The bright aqua jade shade of Lorraine is insanely vibrant, but it is also incredibly wearable. I layered it over an eggplant-colored t-shirt a few days ago and the colorblocking vibe was so beyond glam.
Also pertinent...the color does amazing things for my green eyes.

Long story short...
I’ve been wrapped around a truly delicious book for the past few days; and sweet Lorraine has been wrapped snuggly around my neck for optimal warmthand coziness!

Stop by tomorrow for your chance to win Lorraine for your wardrobe, as well!

{get the look} coloured contact lenses

Likely you have surmised from my countless beauty board eye enhancement posts that I’m a bit incredibly enamored with eyes, and eye makeup. Luckily, through these posts I have realized that I am not the only one. Many of you professed the same love for pretty peepers - even going so far as to want to change your natural eye color. Well...where there's a will want, there's a way. And, of course, it doesn't hurt that cheap contact lenses are standing at the ready with a candy store-worthy collection of colors to give you the precise look you are seeking {no pain required}.

Pure Hazel or Honey will give you Nicole Richie's perfect color; the Gray will bring a touch of Olivia Wilde's glamour to your gaze; and True Sapphire, Blue, or Turquois allow you to harness a bit of Megan Fox's sultriness in your stare. My personal favorite? The Amethyst. It's regal, refined, elegant, and oh-so reminiscent of Elizabeth Taylor's violet eyes.

Which color would you use to update your look?

the little lipstick dictionary

Nothing says glamour quite like a prettied-up pout. Whether you’re on your way to the supermarket, coming from the gym, or meeting the boy’s parents for the first time, a little lipstick goes a long way {just ask Gwyneth Paltrow}. Be that as it may, the shades that work for the boardroom aren’t always as well-received when attending a party, or navigating the dating world, and vice versa. Enter the little lipstick dictionary. Your makeup drawer will thank me later. Kiss, kiss…

the little lipstick dictionary
meet the family Meeting the family {or, more specifically, the parents} of the boy who is the current star of your happily ever after calls for femininity in the lipstick department. For such introductions, playful peaches a la NARS Barbarella are ideal, providing just enough color for a confidence boost without entering the vixen territory of red shades.

date night {the first} To kiss, or not to kiss, that is the question {asked by all those embarking on a first date}. Boys are notoriously intimidated by red lips - due, in large part, to the mess created if kissing is involved. But, opposite sex aside, red is a color associated with power and seduction, two things that could reel a guy that you may not be into {this is, after all, a first date} in. A rosy shade - think Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in Mademoiselle - is my go-to. It's romantic and noticeable, yet never over the top.

shopgirl Less-is-more when it comes to lipstick hues for shopping days. Shades in the nude / pink spectrum - like Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Peche - are subtle enough for that barefaced glow, and minimize the risk of lipstick stains or transfer if when you're trying on clothes. Hello...is there even such a thing as a shopping day that doesn't involve dressing rooms?

interview… Red radiates confidence; but it has the potential to reflect over-confidence when worn on a job interview {first impressions, ladies}. Berry shades {I love Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE PUR COUTURE SPF15 - Pure Colour Satiny Radiance in 4 Rouge Vermillon} are a happy medium. They manage to be both strong and au courant; while avoiding all semblance of cockiness.

out on the town {let’s dance} What is it they say about nights out on the town? Oh yes...Time to drink champagne and dance on the tables. Red is an absolute must; but go sheer and glossy {no mattes allowed}. My pick? L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in True Red. Every girl should have a tube in her makeup bag.

the corporate world There are times in the working world when you feel as if you'll never survive. In other words...meeting and presentation days. You're surrounded by your co-workers, and want to radiate seriousness, sophistication, and sheer know-how. Wine is in order, darling - no, not in a glass...on your lips. Wine lippies are wise, and effuse importance - precisely what you are seeking. Apply a few swipes of Buxom Full Bodied Lipstick in Menace, and call me in the morning. It will see you through all shenanigans of the corporate world variety. Trust me.

party down Allow your pucker to be the guest-of-honor at any party you attend - be it dinner, wedding, or otherwise - with a variety of vibrant pink hues that you and your lips will find yourselves in the throes of a love affair. I'm currently in a long-term relationship with Smashbox's Be Legendary Lipstick in Pink Petal. Pretty does not even begin to describe the perfection of this shade.

I am not one to encourage or validate the wearing of sweatpants. In fact, like Karl Lagerfeld, I view them as …”a sign of defeat…”. Nevertheless, I have developed an inexplicable obsession with the fashion realm’s version of sweatpants - those in neutral colors that feature a slim-fitting leg and a tapered, banded ankle to keep them from looking oversized, unkempt, and otherwise déclassé.

Keep the sporty theme of the sweatpants going with a sweatshirt in a similar or identical color; making it more luxe and playful by wearing it off-the-shoulder {think Jennifer Beals in Flashdance} over a neon tank, allowing the bright strap to peek out for a shot of color. Skip the expected sneaks, instead slipping on a pair of patent pumps {brights only, please!}; and slick on a bold lipstick to awaken your face {don’t start; you can and should wear electrifying lippy!}. A pair of oversized hoops contours, bringing out hidden cheekbones; while a Carrie Bradshaw topknot gives you an energetic yet always elegant vibe. Femininity arrives in the form of a rose-shaped cocktail ring, and voila! Sweatpants? Oh yeah, they just got an oh-so urbane facelift.

Two coats of Maybelline Color Show Tenacious Teal. Bright Jade Green.

Paging Pantone! If you want to play up the 2013 Color of the Year {Emerald} on your nails, this is hands down {no pun intended} the color to do so! I am usually not a fan of teal polishes, but my sister bought this for me as a birthday / Christmas present last year {thanks Tiffany!}, and, in the spirit of the holidays, I thought I’d give it a shot. Swoon!. For a drugstore polish that typically retails for $2.99, this shade has launched itself into my Top 10 Favorite Polishes of ALL Time. The color is more of a bright jade / emerald green {think OPI’s Jade is the New Black}, that is ridiculously glossy, and absolute perfection! At one coat it seemed slightly watery, but a second coat quickly rectified that, and left me with nothing but a beautiful mani. I am completely in love and cannot recommend this shade enough. Gorgeous!

do you believe in magic?

When it comes to beauty, eyes are my thing. I go nude {or, most recently, a very pale, blush pink} for lips, but eyes are a different story. Lashes and liner are dark midnight black, and shadow is a smoky, smoldering bronze. It's a trademark of sorts when it comes to my makeup routine - one that requires supreme control {after all, eyeliner can be a difficult thing to master - even when you're working with it day-in-and-day-out}. Never have I found a liner that I'm fully satisfied with. I've had flings with kohls, short-lived love affairs with creams, and flirted with pencils, but none have been offered a full-time position in my makeup bag. Given the fact that my quest for perfection in the eyeliner department has yet to be achieved, I was ready, willing, and oh-so able to give MIRABEllA's Magic Marker Eyeliner a test-run when offered the chance.

I am not known for my coordination - an inability that has crossed over into my liner application skills {or lack thereof}. I do, however, have excellent penmanship - a strength which served in my favor when using the Magic Marker Eyeliner, as the tip is synonymous with that of an ordinary pen, while the body matches that of my favorite ballpoint, making it incredibly easy to control.

I have had horrible bad experiences with marker-esque liners in the past. They tend to dry-out mid-application - resulting in a crooked line, and a lengthy wait time for re-grouping before you can complete application and move on to the next step in your makeup routine. That wasn't an issue here. The liquid was continuous and fluid from the moment that I placed point to eye, until the moment that I removed it {no drying}; and the color {Very Black} fully opaque after just one coat. Ordinarily I find myself unhappy with the thickness of my lines; but the precision tip {which is small and utterly perfect for creating a precise line} coupled with the continuous flow of the liquid, resulted in simplicity and serious satisfaction in the liner department - which, in turn, reflected in my entire makeup look.

Though I usually leave the cat-eye's for Lauren {Conrad}, the Magic Marker Eyeliner has given me the confidence ability to try the look out myself - and that's definitely saying something. Meow.

Have you tried MIRABEllA's Magic Marker Eyeliner before? What eyeliner is your favorite to use?

Miniskirts, minidresses, or, for the truly daring, thigh-high slits that create the illusion of a mini when, in all actuality, you are garbed in a maxi {think Angelina Jolie}. What few don’t necessarily expect is a short hemline made possible by an actual pair of shorts - in this case, of the black leather variety.

An untucked white button-down topped with an unbuttoned black blazer {cuff the sleeves to fashion an ultra-chic color-blocking effect} tempers the sportiness of the shorts, adding a hint of business cas; while a pair of dark, Risky Business-inspired sunglasses plays up the cool, yet oh-so effortless effect. {muse of the moment} varsity jackets

I have never met a varsity jacket that I didn’t love. Don’t attribute this confession to an adoration of sports. Quite the contrary, in fact. I don’t know a football from a foosball; and, if I’m completely honest, I must admit that the only contact sport I’m truly well-versed in is that of sample sale shopping.

Nevertheless, since my playground days, I have been obsessed - ranking the varsity jacket right up there with sparkling {faux} diamonds and brilliant books and perfume packaged in pretty bottles. Lacking both athletic prowess or a boyfriend on the varsity team, however, essentially left my cravings unsatisfied. Until the design world was kind enough to seemingly take pity on un-sporty fashion folk like moi - serving up scores of glam pieces in every color of the rainbow - perfect for pairing with pumps and skinnies or pleated leather minis for Girls' Night Out.

I stalked snagged a Mint and Black marvel at Forever 21 over the holidays {which I am slowly wearing to death}; but now that I've spotted everyone from Hanneli Mustaparta to Taylor Swift to Liv Tyler wearing their ultra-covetable versions on the street, I'm thinking I may need to add fifty a few more to my collection. Go team?

From left-to-right.

Gray is one of those in-between eye colors. Sometimes they lean green, while others they appear blue {as the impossibly beautiful Olivia Wilde illustrates perfectly}. The warmth of orange / apricot / tangerine or metallic copper shadows draws out the steeliness of gray eyes; dark chocolate liners and smoky mauve shadows add a mysterious touch to your gaze; and navy liners are perfect for highlighting any hints of blue in your eyes. Go subtle with your look by keeping in line with your natural hue with charcoal liners or pearl gray shadows; or play the sultry card with an eggplant liner and light purple shadow. Out of all of the glitters I have used over the years {a very high number BTW}, this was probably the easiest to work with – thick without being gloppy; and buildable enough to gain opacity in just two coats {though it would also look gorgey layered over another shade}. This one is perfect for holiday soirees; but also works as a great year-round neutral if you covet a little sparkle.

return of the one-piece

“To look good in the water you have to pick the right swimsuit.”
Amanda Beard

return of the one piece

For years now swimsuits have found themselves synonymous with the showing of skin. After all, the song does state “…she wore an itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini…” It’s a melody that has resulted in a universal predilection for two-pieces {myself included}. But with ELLE magazine reporting “A return to femininity…” for the spring season; Saks Fifth Avenue Senior Fashion Director Colleen Sherin announcing a ”…bit of a return to minimalism”; and celebrities such as Kate Moss, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce embracing the retro and oh-so ladylike {yet still subtly sexy} look, it appears the swimsuit trend of 2013 is, indeed…the return of the one-piece.

Though oftentimes referred to as ladies tummy control swimwear; the one-piece is far more than a mere style solution to concealing the fact that we may or may not have eaten one too many Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies. Quite the contrary, in fact; it is an elegant means of showing skin shoreside without overtly displaying your sun-kissed complexion for a gaggle of strangers {regardless of how handsome they may or may not be}. In other words, a style that juxtaposes seduction with sophistication and simplicity.

A one-piece with well-placed cutouts in the back and around the waistline add an alluring air to your swimsuit selection {and serves as a perfect going out look for sultry summer nights when paired with skinny jeans or cutoff denim shorts}; while a plunging neckline is a saucy, tongue-in-cheek way of bringing the sexy without forsaking the sophisticated femininity of the season.

Swimsuit season is nearly open us, dolls…are you ready?

“People shop for a bathing suit with more care than they do a husband or wife. The rules are the same. Look for something you’ll feel comfortable wearing. Allow for room to grow.”
Erma Bombeck

Will you be trying the one-piece on for size this swimsuit season?

{beauty resolution} strong + healthy nails

If you have ever asked me how I keep my nails in amazing shape {either here, or via my Instagram}, you know that my number one secret is JULEP Essential Cuticle Oil. Previously, I had tried using different {messy} gel’s and even a cuticle pusher to get rid of the cuticles that I felt were wreaking havoc on my manicures, but nothing worked until I discovered the Essential Cuticle Oil, which I now use multiple times per day, and rub all over my nails {not just on the cuticles}. P.S. my nails have never looked better.

Having had so much success with JULEP products in the past, I was thrilled to take part in their Beauty Resolution: Strong & Healthy Nails Program, wherein I tested two of their products: Julep Reveal Nail Growth Revitalizing Serum and the Julep Nail Therapy Basecoat. Long story short… I am beyond happy with the results of both; but I’ll go into further detail below.

{julep reveal nail growth revitalizing serum} I credit my high daily intake of Biotin vitamins for the rapidity of my nail growth; however, even with the Biotin, every month or two I experience breakage of a few of my nails {we’re talking big breakage, not a little chip} that results in the need to file all of my nails down {for uniformity!} and start all over with the growing process. Two weeks ago I began using the Nail Growth Revitalizing Serum and I have not encountered so much as a tear or split in my nails since. The brush that comes with this serum is reminiscent of a lipgloss wand, and applies in much the same way…with a few swipes all around the nail where it meets the skin, and underneath the nail, as well. I have seen significant growth in the length of my nails since the first application; and, as mentioned before avoided splits, chips, and tears {despite the fact that I use my hands constantly}. For me, this ranks right up there with the Julep Essential Cuticle Oil that I adore; and, when used in unison with the Nail Therapy Basecoat, truly gives you model-worthy nails.

{julep nail therapy basecoat} This is a basecoat, yes; but I find that it is an amazing tool for strengthening the nail in its entirety. This arrived in the post the day after I unsuccessfully attempted to catch a box that I had lost my grip on, resulting in the break of the nail on my middle finger {right hand}. The break caused my nail to lose some of its strength; and since I was already suffering from peeling nails on a number of my other fingers, I decided to apply this for a few days {without a nail color on top} to strengthen {and protect} them. Fast forward four days…the peeling on my nails had sealed itself, and was completely smooth; and my nails were less bend-y - the result of the strengthening power. I have tried a handful of basecoats over the past few months, but this is the first one that truly felt as if it was strengthening and repairing the nail; while, at the same time, protecting from polish stains {I wore this under Julep’s dark navy blue shade Michelle for six days, and had 0 staining once removed}.

Have you tried either of these products before? What do you use to keep your nails strong and healthy?
