Why Don't You...?

…slip into a pair of Blank Denim’s Relaxed Classique Denim Shorts, spread out a pretty blanket, and take a long, languorous nap on your front lawn?

…tempt fate? Catch the eye of a cute boy at the bus stop; linger a little too long in front of your crush’s humble abode; toss a well-timed wink in the direction of the handsome barista at the local coffee shop. What’s the worst that could happen, dolls? You could fall in love, that’s what!

…kick off your Rag & Bone Victoria Wedge Sandals and race barefoot through a field of freshly-cut grass?

…buy a pretty swimsuit specifically for wearing around the house? Really now, taking the time to get dressed in the morning is so overrated!

…slick a shimmering gloss upon your lips and spend the day in complete silence? What was it that Margaret Lee Runbeck said…“Silences make the real conversations between friends. Not the saying but the never needing to say is what counts.”

Fashionably yours!

  5. Have you seen the commercial where the boy sees a girl on a train, uses his phone app to quickly change his train to hers, hops on, and they fall in love? It's so cute!

And a house swimsuit sounds pretty amazing.

  15. Ahhhh! Who could resist a flirty encounter with a stranger?! Luckily, I've already found my prince, but at times I do miss the seduction of the "chase"! To all you single gals out there, go mingle! You'll never know where love will find you ;o)

  16. I have a couple swimsuits I can only wear around the house...but that's mainly b/c I look like a giant cow in them and refuse to wear them in public. Hahaha.

I hope you're having a wonderful week, my dear! xoxo

  20. Gorgeous post as always! I love the idea of running through the grass barefoot (although I'd be wary of doing it in my park... too many dogs ;-). Wearing a swimsuit around the house sounds like a fab idea as well!

  55. Spending a day in complete silence just may be the most difficult and amazing feat EVER! I might have to try it. Unfortunately, it'll have to wait till summer, cause I'd hate to witness the havoc that would wreak in my classroom if I were stuck in silence. :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm WAY too chatty to spend the day in silence, but I do love shiny lip gloss. Bath and Body Work's lip gloss rocks my world.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Sometimes I'll be around the house in my pyjamas, not doing anything particularly exciting, and decide to slap on some makeup to feel pretty just for myself!

  58. I was unexpectedly mum yesterday with a touch of laryngitis! It wasn't as glamorous as silence by choice!
