Why Don't You...?

...tug VPL’s Fall Out Sweater over your head and spend the evening at a bonfire on the beach? You may just find a cute boy to curl up with next to the flickering firelight while toasting marshmallows!

…set the alarm for 3:00am to host a middle of the night baking party with your glamorous girlfriends? On the menu…S’More Brownies, Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting, and Hidden Mint Cookies.

…be the bright spark in a sea of gray? Accouter yourself in Halston Heritage’s Tie-Front Romper in Electric Combo; slide your pedicured paws into Belle by Sigerson Morrison’s Tubular Zip Back Flat Sandals in Shocking Pink; slip Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Runway Bows Headband in Fluro Pink atop your head. Electrify the world with your style, kitty cats!

…climb a tree in your Nanette Lepore Lost At Sea Romper, and let your bare legs dangle carelessly in the cool breeze from your perch atop the highest branch?

…grab Candace Bushnell’s The Carrie Diaries from your bedroom, top your rebellious locks with Eugenia Kim’s Max Fedora with Leopard Trim, and loll the afternoon away reading and sipping pink lemonade on your front porch?

Fashionably yours!

  44. Oh my gosh, the one about having a 3am baking party with your friends really struck a cord with me. A friend of mine always got a call from her dad at the time of her birthday on her birthday. He died last year from cancer so for her birthday we all showed up at her door at 2:41a with a cake we made and her favorite chocolates.
    You are just so inspiring!

  51. Haha I'm more likely to be lost in the sea of gray, personally. I know everybody thinks it's a dull colour, but I find it very flattering sometimes - one of my favourites, weirdly enough.
Oh I've never seen Valley of the Dolls, by the way! Is it good? Seems like it would be my thing (I'm such a girl haha).
