Sunday Steals: Christian Louboutin Bridget Strass Pumps for Pennies

My loves, to the left we have Christian Louboutin’s blinged out Bridget Strass Pumps – the very same ones seen gracing not only the tootsies of Carrie Bradshaw (aka Sarah Jessica Parker) in Sex and the City 2, but Olivia Palermo, Scarlett Johansson, and Leelee Sobieski, as well (LIKE); to the right we have Dollhouse’s Tano Sandal (TRY).

(WHY?) Though the tempting Tano lacks the strass heel seen in all of its blazing glory upon the Louboutin lovely; for the low price of $59.95, in comparison to the $3,325.00 price tag of its couture cousin, it is just as glamorous, and leaves room to splurge in other areas of your fashion-forward existence!

Is today the day for you to please the big spender within; or will you play it cool and be thrifty?

Fashionably yours!

  5. Well since I'd only be wearing those heels for about an hour tops, $59.95 sounds pretty good to me!

  9. $3325?!?!?! Insane!!! To be honest, both pairs look pretty tacky to me... the dollhouse ones more so unfortunately. But the red sole definitely doesnt justify the $3000 difference to me.

  10. Both versions look great, but I can't resist a pair of Louboutins! I'll have to be a big spender this time.

  13. Wow, Dollhouse has a lot of recreations! As lust-worthy as Louboutins are, I think I'd go for the Dollhouse, because I don't see any difference.

  22. I think if I wanna buy a pair of super expensive shoes, I'll make sure the design is classic and can be worn all the time. Like Louboutin black pumps, definitely not this one. It won't stay in trend. So dollhouse is a smart choice :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ah, now the Dollhouse version are very good... but those red soles! I simply cannot resist! :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Lovely and fabulous... you know that I'm not a shoe addict so I'd rather spend the extra moolah for bags and get the Dollhouse version instead. Happy Sunday Erika! xoxo

  37. This is such a close copy, it's nearly a bit cheeky. But who can afford $3,325?? Since it's not a shoe I'd wear very often it would have to be the thrifty version for me.
Wishing you a lovely start to the week, Erika. xoxo

I would have to say, neither in this case. While the shoes are spectacular and fun, I def can't afford the expensive pair, and I have not been that impressed with my dollhouse purchases.

I'd go cheap because the gold part looks a tad hard on the Loubs :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. i would prob go with the less expensive version b/c it is not a classic design.
