Thrifty Thursday: Just Cavalli Zebra-Print Pencil Skirt for Pennies

Kitty cats, to the left feast your eyes on Just Cavalli’s zany Zebra-Print Pencil Skirt; to the right, take a peek at The Limited’s Printed Pencil Skirt.

Though The Limited’s lovely is ever so slightly shorter than the tres chic Just Cavalli number, and is fashioned out of stretch faille fabric as opposed to monochrome silk-satin; for a minute $59.50, in comparison to the $390.00 asking price of its high-end cousin, it is every bit as covetable – and priced just right for the budget fashionista!

Your turn loves…will you be thrifty or suckered into putting on your spendthrift cap?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to Net-A-Porter and The Limited for the pictures.

  1. Hm, I like the pattern better on The Limited's, but like the longer length of the Cavalli. So I'm on the fashion fence with this one!

  13. The Cavalli skirt is gorgeous! The length on the Cavalli amps up the sophistication factor. And to be honest, I'm also not thrilled about the seam coming down the front of the Limited number. Not all prints are created equal.

  31. I really like them both! don't make me choose between 2 zebras! But since I spent too much on shoes today, I would go with the cheaper! xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  32. Cheap, of course! The length is more my style :)

    ReplyDelete

  37. I usually shy away from animal print but zebra in small doses might be worth exploring... on a budget sadly as all my shopping funds have gone toward shoes :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Bummer, I prefer the Cavalli pencil skirt over the Limited one. :(

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bummer i prefer the Cavalli one, but the Limited is a great option!

  41. That zebra print is amazing! but I think the panelling has totally won me over this time.

    lovely post as always dearest!

  42. Ooh I'll take the Limited one! The shorter hemline works for me, and there's something so much more appealing about that $59.50 price tag...!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Love the zebra print - wish I could pull it off! (-:

  44. it really amazes me how sometimes the one for less usually looks better than the more expensive one

    xx

  45. love both skirts... i wouldn't mind having one of each... ha!

    ReplyDelete
  46. so cool. really a great find.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Both cute! The less expensive one has a bit more flair though =)

  48. Great post Erika, and surprisingly I prefer the more thriftier version of skirt to the Cavalli one. It's weird how it's like that sometimes, isn't it? but you definitely save a ton of money! I really like this Thrifted Thursday weekly feature, it's awesome!

  49. I like the Limited one better I think! Cheaping out is the way to go for me on this one, especially since it's Zebra and not too versatile- seems fun to just scrimp on it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. not a fan of either! looks like it would be way unflattering

    ReplyDelete
  51. They both look really cute, I would definitely pick The Limited :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'll choose thrifty, thank you very much! The pattern is really cute -- I'm not into zebra handbags but as a print it's cool. I'm looking forward to dressing it down with a white tank and black Havaianas :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Love a good zebra print, but I don't own any (yet...)I'd first try the Express number to see if zebra and I were made for each other...

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'll definitely be thrifty and go for the one from The Limited!

    ReplyDelete
  55. WOW! Love The Limited piece! :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. the limited skirt for sure ;)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh my, I LOVE zebra prints so much! Although I'd probably have to go thrifty on this one. These are so sassy and adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I actually like the pattern on The Limited one better... Though that's likely because I'm not very into animal prints.
