Before I Was a Fashionista...

Everyone has a fashion faux pas tucked away in their past - don't deny it, I know you do. A little obsession with a fleeting trend, an adoration of something tres embarrassing. Lucky for you, I'm in a sharing mood; thus, I am allowing all of you un petit coup d'oeil into my less-than-fabulous past via one of my favorite sites...Before You Were Hot - check it out here, my loves!

Oh, and don't forget to let me know...what fashion faux pas is lingering in your past? Submit your photos here!

Fashionably yours!

  4. This is so cute, Erika. And you know, there's always something from the past that we bring with us to the present. As you said, your love of boots goes back a long way, and it really shows here. Look at that smile :)

  9. Erika, you look absolutely adorable!
It's funny to look back on those fashion faux pas of childhood isn't it? I was quite the tomboy in elementary school, then I was always decked out in the latest from Limited Too in middle school, and high school... Well, unfortunately I lived in clothes from Hot Topic and Pacsun, consisting of Dickies, band tees, Converse, and Vans. Not a good look for me!

  13. This is so cute! <3
My parents dressed me like a boy as a child, boy's skater shoes and all and I avoided dresses at all costs- definitely something that has changed!
Then in middle school I was all about the Hot Topic look, kind of like what Rachel said in her comment. So so horrible. Thank goodness I came to my senses once high school came around!

  16. It was horrible, Erika. I wore this multi-colored flannel shirt almost every day to high school because I loved that shirt. Then, there were the two big flares that I constantly tripped over. My whole childhood and adolescence is full of fashion faux pas. The one that topped it off is the day I wore a men's polo to work, only to find that my boss was wearing the same one.
