Though the Velvet Ballet Flats lack the goatskin suede upper and leather lining and insole of the luxurious Lanvin’s; for just $22.50, in comparison to the $595.00 asking price of their haute couture counterpart, they are every bit as capable of wowing your many admirers come holiday party time – and allow one to indulge in both sassy shades…crimson and black!
Tell me, kittens…will you be a big spender and go for Lanvin, or be thrifty and spring for Charlotte Russe?
Fashionably yours!

I am so in love with Lanvin flats its ridiculous, but since I can't afford them I actually think I am going to get the CR ones because they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I would love to have the Lanvin pair, they're ridiculously expensive! I'll go with the Charlotte Russe! :)
ReplyDeletei'd definitely go for the charlotte russe ones, they're a great find!
ReplyDeleteLove these flats! Definitely saving on this one!
ReplyDeletecharlotte russe :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Such a great price at 23 bucks. Hmm..I saw some flats (sort of throw aways) at Wal-Greens. Something you can slid into when you are leaving the party and your feet hurt so much. Still not sure how good they'd be, though. I so love these flats though.
ReplyDeleteoh yes! <3

So cool to have for the holidays & to carry with you on those snowy days when you don't want to wear your snowboots after you get there.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous find, darling!
ReplyDeleteI just can't bring myself to spend lots of $ on flats!

LOVE the Lavin ones but they are ridiculous -- definitely going with the Charlotte Russe ones!

This one's pretty incredible. I think they're so pretty--both of them--may have to locate the nearest Charlotte Russe to me and scope out a pair (I'm on a mission to start integrating flats into my wardrobe). Thanks for sharing--I love this one! Happy Sunday Erika :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Lanvin chic ones!
ReplyDeleteThe Charlotte Russe boots look like a little sturdier, so I would definitely go for those.
ReplyDeleteLove the red version too. They look really comfy and pretty too. Go Charlotte Russe!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteNot so sure I'm a fan... sad day =-(
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Lanvin pair! Very stylish. =)
ReplyDeleteI love velvet and ballet pumps, so these are perfect for me! Adore both pairs. xx

Aw, these are so adorable! I'd love to splurge and get the Lavin but can unfortunately only afford the Charlotte Russe. ;)
ReplyDeleteXx
You have singlehandedly made the industry of ballet flats triple. AND you have rekindled my love for ballet flats. Love these- and love Charlotte Russe.
ReplyDeleteI love it when the holiday clothes and accessories start showing up. These are so cute, I'll take one in the Charlotte Russe, please. Great for holiday lounging :)
ReplyDeleteown, i need one....
ReplyDeletexoxo
My goodness!
ReplyDeleteSomething from one of my favorite chain stores, Charlotte Russe!
I do love the goatskin on the Lavin, but the Russe ones are every bit as cute!
I'm on a college kid budget, haha. That means, Charolotte Russe for sure! Either way, I'd probably go with CR; it's stylish, and a bit more practical in regard to expenses.
ReplyDeleteThe Charlotte Russe ones look really good.
ReplyDeleteLooks I'll be thrifty today, they look great!
ReplyDeleteTotal mirror images. And I need a pair. Velvet flats, why have I never thought of such a perfect thing before?
ReplyDeleteI love lanvin shoes so so sooo much! I am coveting a pair of Lanvin over the knee boots I saw at Bergdorf's the other day. But alas, I don't have 1,000 dollars to drop on shoes, nor do I have $600 to drop on these. So Charlotte Russe it is :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome, these flats are so cute can't wait to head over to Charlotte Russe!=)
ReplyDeleteI'd buy both - I can never have too many ballet flats!
ReplyDeleteWow, the CR one is nearly identical! This one is a serious steal =) I would totally get the CR flats. yes please!
ReplyDeleteI really love Lanvin, but I've been looking for some lookalike flats, so it seems, you have helped me! I'll have to check Charlotte Russe.
ReplyDeleteAh the enviable Lanvin flats - so comfy but not enough support for this gal to justify the price! Perfect alternative my dear!
ReplyDeleteBoth adorable! I prefer to save on flats and splurge on heels/boots :). You really do find the most amazing shoe look-a-likes girl!! Thanks for always sharing :)
ReplyDeletealways can use a new pair of flats!
ReplyDeletecute cute! i love these flats!!! i have missed you love!!

Awww! So in love with Lanvin. The bow is precious.
ReplyDeleteah the lanvin flats are SO cute but I think I should go with the cheaper option ;)
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Russe all the way. Or what I would do is get simple black flats and just add the exaggerated bow! gives a bit of your own taste and style. love this post btw.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
MelRod
Oh they are gorgeous!

I'm looking for the perfect pair of black flats: the Lanvin ones are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually currently drooling over a pair of electric blue Lanvin ballet flats... *sigh!*
ReplyDeleteThrifty! because they are almost identical. I love them both.
ReplyDeleteLanvin all the way!
ReplyDeleteThe Charlotte Russe ones are too perfect! I want!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth are so adorable! I love ballet flats for holiday time because they are super comfortable and can be packed flat (I travel a lot, so the less room they take up, the better!).
ReplyDeleteI'd probably have to go with the CR ones at the moment because they're much more budget friendly, but a girl can dream for the Lanvin ones, right? Hehe.. Thanks for posting!

I tend to be rather hard on flats so spending the $595 only to more than likely scuff them in the first wearing would be tragic! CR for me.
ReplyDeleteI bet the Lanvin pair is just gorgeous in real life, but for flats, I'll stick to CR. Besides, I always manage to destroy any pair of shoes I own ;o)
ReplyDeleteboth cute, but i think i like the lanvins better.

There is something about the floppiness of the Lanvin bow that I dig more!
ReplyDeleteLove love love! I am obsessed with bows these days and these are simply fabulous!
ReplyDeletelove the lanvin! I love bows :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
I like this look but for flats definitely the cheaper option so charlotte for me!
ReplyDeleteJust bought an similar pair from Aldo as an emergency flat shoe purchase - my flip flops couldn't withstand the torrential rain!
ReplyDeleteI'll have both please. :)
