Tightwad Tuesday: Stella McCartney Puff-Shouldered Lace Jacket for Pennies

Kitty cats, to the left take a gander at Stella McCartney’s pretty Puff-Shouldered Lace Jacket – the very same one seen worn by Victoria Beckham, Rachel McAdams, and Anouck Lepere (in the pages of Vogue); to the right feast your eyes on Shock Boutique’s Lace & Bead Jacket.

Though the Shock Boutique piece features a faux-silk nude background, as opposed to the off-white true silk underlay of the stellar Stella; for just $84.00, in comparison to the $3,365.00 price tag of the McCartney marvel, it is just as capable of casting a ladylike glow upon your wardrobe – at a price that no frugal fashionista could ignore!

    Lace is so in right now, and I like seeing hints of it. The subtle look of lace in the McCartney piece works for me, so it's Stella this Tuesday :)

    I'd have to see it up close but the shock boutique version looks very nice! I agree though that there are many levels of quality for lace so I'd want to really examine it. Love, love lace!
