Sunday Steals: BCBGMAXAZRIA Stretch Sequined Skirt for Less

My loves, in the left corner we have the blissfully sparkling style that is BCBGMAXAZRIA’s Stretch Sequined Skirt; to the right prepare to inhale the glittering aroma that is Charlotte Russe’s Sequined Pencil Skirt.

While the chichi Charlotte creation lacks the horizontal seam detailing of the breathtaking BCBGMAXAZRIA piece, and features an elastic waistband as opposed to the concealed side zip of its haute couture counterpart; for a mere $29.50, in comparison to the $268.00 needed to bask in the body-hugging aesthetic of the BCBGMAXAZRIA stunner, it is every bit as capable of making you twinkle and shine – at a fraction of the cost!

Which role have you decided to undertake on this sultry Sunday, kittens? Tightwad or spendthrift?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to Bloomingdale’s and Charlotte Russe for the pictures.

  8. I've quite honestly been wanting a sequined skirt like this! I personally prefer the BCBG one, though for that price, the Charlotte Russe one would definitely do. ♥

  11. This right here is why I love Charlotte Russe. I'm not going to wear a sequin skirt every day so a cheaper option is just fine. I would totally go with the Charlotte Russe! I'm been really into their store lately, it feels a little classier than my wet seal.

  12. I like the Charlotte Russe skirt a lot better than the BCBG one. Though this isn't generally something I would pick up, maybe I can mix it up and check out the Charlotte Russe skirt for a stand-out outfit!

  16. Gotta say, I prefer the BCBG one in this case (it's just so perfectly shaped and fitted and shiny and I love the wide waistband!), but it's a pretty close comparison! Happy holidays Miss Erika :)

  19. The BCBG skirt looks a bit more chic and detailed but on my budget, hunny, I would definetly be buying the Charlotte Russe skirt. As matter of fact, I'll be ordering that off of CharlotteRusse.com soon if it's in stock lol. Great post!

  34. I'm really into sequin skirts during the holiday season. I don't mind the CR one, minus the elastic waist band...it made look a little cheap. The BCBG one is great and looks like it would be more flattering. However, considering I would probably wear a sequin skirt a handful of times, I'd definitely opt for a much cheaper version!

  35. Both look good, so I'd go with either. BCBG does seem to be shinier, and more glam.
