My loves, in the left corner we have FRYE’s fabulous Carmen Harness Tall – the very same ones seen donned by The Vampires Diaries’ Nina Dobrev; to the right take a gander at Forever 21’s Leatherette Biker Boots.Though the Forever 21 pretties are constructed out of faux leather, as opposed to the true leather of the FRYE’s, and offer the wearer a slightly lower heel; for a mere $34.80, in comparison to the $358.00 of the originals, they are just as capable of adding a biker babe motif to your look du jour, at a price that allows you to pick up both colors – black and brown!
Tell me, kittens…will you be a big spender and go for FRYE, or be thrifty and spring for Forever 21?

Oooo when it comes to boots like these I think youd have to get the Frye's because it might be too cheap. The faux leather isn't warm at all I find. They are still cute tho!! =)

As a Frye owner, I will say that the boots are made BEAUTIFULLY. However, for anything that I don't see myself wearing for a long period of time I would go with the faux. In this case, I'm not a huge harness person so I would go for the F21 version.
ReplyDeleteNow normally I would say Frye al the way, however Forever21 got it pretty darn close! I just got a pair of shoes form them that I am surprisingly really loving and I only paid $25!! can't beat it!!

ReplyDeleteThe Frye might be more expensive in the short run... but they'll probably become a favorite boot that keeps getting lots and lots of wear season after season without ever looking "dated." Gotta go with the original, my dear :)

This is a hard one though because I always think of boots as being a forever purchase, although they rarely last me more than a few years as I wear them to death...literally haha. I would probably go for the real thing but the price on the f21s is amazing! Hope you are enjoying the last few days before christmas!!

Even though I would never spend that much money on shoes, I love the Frye ones. They look so supple, and expensive. But, Forever 21 still continues to amaze me, those boots are a perfect match. You always find the best stuff!
