Thrifty Thursday: French Connection Wendy Cotton Dress for Less

My loves, to your left you will find French Connection’s wondrous Wendy Cotton Dress; to the right allow your pretty peepers to fall upon the beauty that is C. Jace’s fabulous Frou Frou Black Dress.

While the French Connection charmer comes crafted with a banded waist and an exposed zipper along the back, two things that the C. Jace gem lacks; for just $59.00, as opposed to the $198.00 required to add Wendy to your wardrobe, it is just as capable of kicking your little black dress collection up a notch – at a price that no frugalista can refuse!

Will French Connection tempt you into being a big spender, or will C. Jace inspire you to save?

Fashionably yours!

  4. I like the cleaner lines on the C.Jace, so if I was choosing one, I'd pick that based on the style alone.

  12. Oh this is a hard one because I really do like the silhouette of the French Connection one--and sadly these days $200 for a dress sounds reasonable!

  19. That just screams to go dancing. I think I like the right one, just because the frills are a little less featherish.

  26. I'd buy the cheaper one because I always wind up looking pregnant in things with belted waists. It's very pretty! I'll think about it!! =)

  27. The sleeves are a little too much for me. I don't really think that I'd choose any of these dresses. They are beautiful, though. Have a good Thursday, E, lots of Damon and Stefan goodness tonight.

  47. French Connection wins! The sleeves are more dramatic, and the tailoring is much better. And a zipper is always a bonus! I'd be willing to pay for it.
