Sunday Steals: Lanvin Cap-Toe Ballerina Flat for Less

Mon chéri, in the left corner we have Lanvin’s très chic Cap-Toe Ballerina Flat; in the right corner we have GAP’s glamorous Cap Toe Patent Ballet Flats.

While the gorgeous offering from GAP is constructed out of patent leather, as opposed to the true contrasting buffalo leather of the luscious Lanvin’s; for a mere $39.99, in comparison to the $555.00 needed to add a little Lanvin love to your shoe collection, they are a fabulous way for the frugalista to channel luxury style – without breaking the bank!

Which role are you playing today, kitty cats…the frugal femme fatale or the sassy spendthrift?

Thanks to Neiman Marcus and GAP for the pictures.

Fashionably yours!

  6. Sweet. At the GAP. My last pair were black and not nearly as comfy as I'd hoped. But I'd love to try on these at the GAP.

  16. I LOVE this post! I was just a Gap and didn't see these but I'm going back today because my favorite pair of flats (10x more than my Chanel flats) is a pair from the Gap--they fit my foot so much better! Yay! Thank you for this post Erika!

  22. I defintely prefer the Lanvin ones. But seeing as could never afford or justify spending that amount of money on them, I would happily settle for the Gap ones.

  23. Oooh, those are chic and comfy looking! I still cannot fathom how you are able to know so much about fashion! I wish that I knew how to put together fashionable outfits like ya do!

Ha, my normal outfit is usually jeans and a hoodie. Bleh. :p

  27. I really love the color combo for Lanvin but that's way too much for me to spend on flats (heels or boots is another story....)

  40. Erika you always find the best stuff! Both of these are cute, but these kinds of shoes tend to hurt my feet :( but they are perfect everyday ballerina shoes!

  41. I actually LOVE GAP shoes. They're so fabulously cheap and chic and THATS WHATS IMPORTANT. Awesome. I love the detailing at the toe.

  43. such a good match-up!!! I would go Gap for sure without a shadow of a doubt, and I would probably want to do something cheaper before I even did that... moral of the story is that I don't wear flats too much so I see no need to spend much money on them!

  44. I got my first pair of ballet flats last summer... daringly, since my hubby had clearly said he hated them. He is a high-high-hiiiiigh heel guy!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I don't think I could ever by designer flats. It just seems wrong! I always mess them up too quickly anyway.

  46. I actually prefer the look of the Gap Flats, they look so comfy.

  47. Hello my lovely friend. I'm adoring the new look of your blog, it's so pretty!! These ballerina flats are absolute perfection, and once again I am floored at your ability to find the most gorgeous items for cheaper. These gap flats are every bit as beautiful as the Lanvin shoes and what an INCREDIBLE price! I'm very much going with the lovely gap shoes today. Thanks for letting us all know about them!!
