Darlings, in the left corner we have Juicy Couture’s charming Dominica Wedge Sandal; in the right you will spot Steve Madden’s extraordinary Egoismo.
While the Juicy gems feature silver-toned hardware, and an ever so slightly darker wood wedge than the Madden’s; for a mere $79.96, as opposed to the $199.95 price tag of their Couture cousin, the Madden’s allow the frugal fashionista to add this saucy style to their summer wardrobe – at a cost that is half the price of the original!
So mes chéris, what are you up to today? Will your AmEx take a beating with a splurge, or will you stay safe and thrifty with a frugal buy?
Fashionably yours!

its so funny you post this because ive been looking for quite some time for black shoes like this. i already have some brown ones from a few years back...but no black!!!
ReplyDeletei'd like a pair of each please.
ReplyDeleteYum, yum, yummy!!! I love these and am in the market for a wedge/platform. Currently I am obsessed with a Tory Burch pair, but I just don't know if I can justify $200... or can I? ;)

Steve Madden!
ReplyDeleteWow, great to find the thrift on these.
ReplyDeleteI like the darker look and the hardware of the Couture. So I'm $pending on the JC today :)
ReplyDeleteI love Juicy Couture but I would let it go this time and go for the Steve Madden ones. both are really cute.

i like them but could never buy them - those thick straps around the ankle would totally cut off the flow of my leg!
ReplyDeleteEven though they are very similar, I think I prefer the look of the Juicy pair the best :)
ReplyDeletesuper cute and amazing wedges!
ReplyDeleteI love these! I think I like the straps on the Juicy better better but the SM ones are still awesome!
ReplyDeleteAmazing find!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the Steve Madden ones better!

Admittedly, I like the lower ankle strap on the Juicy ones better (I find higher ankle straps both unflattering and uncomfortable!) but the Steve Maddens are almost as cute! I really want a pair!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the Juicy Couture ones better!
ReplyDeletesteve madden, definitely!
ReplyDeleteEhh, not really my style of shoe so I'd go with Madden!
ReplyDeleteQuench Fab
To tell you the truth, I am not a huge fan of wedges! So it's a no-no for me!

These are so gorgeous. Love the thrift price, too.
ReplyDeleteI need to get myself a pair of those steve maddens! Being a college student means automatically having to go with the lower price, but in all the cases you post, I truly don't mind!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day! ♥
both look exactly the same!!!
ReplyDeleteSo great!:)
ReplyDeleteWooohoooo, love them all!

I really adore the Steve Madden wedges. They seem sturdier for some reason. Plus, I love all things Steve Madden. Hope you're having a good Thursday, E.
ReplyDeleteThe Juicy ones look a little more polished to me, but the Maddens are *so close* that I'd go for the steal.
ReplyDeleteI own a few pairs of Maddens that I really like, so I'm happy to save a little cash too!
ReplyDeleteI'll go for Steven Madden's this time! they are sooo pretty
ReplyDeleteAlthough they are pretty similar, I prefer the Steve Madden ones
ReplyDeleteFabulous! These are amazing!

ReplyDeleteMy Heart Blogged
There's actually no discernible difference. Great find!
ReplyDeleteJuicy all the way!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it is the lighting in the photos, but I prefer the first pair. The wood looks darker and more expensive. They are fab sandals! xo
ReplyDeleteI so love that you found a thrifty version of these!
ReplyDeleteThe Steve Maddens are just as cute! Heck yeah!!

Really pretty shoes. The Steve Madden ones would be perfect for the summer.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell a difference!

ReplyDeleteThose are super cute, and they definitely look comfortable!
ReplyDeleteI'll be thrifty today and go for the Steve Madden pair. They look just as great!
ReplyDeleteSteve Madden gets my vote! I like the stitch detail on the leather.
ReplyDeletelovin' them shoes! :D <3
ReplyDeleteEh....I really don't like these style of shoes. Way too chunky. Although I do say Madden seems to have a nicer, slimmer heel. But still, neither!

i actually like the madden's better so the price works for me too.
ReplyDeleteI like the Steve Maddens the best! Woot woot!
ReplyDeleteeither one will do for me. I sort of wish they were a lighter brown.

Both are cute! I really can't tell a difference, so I guess I'd go with the Steve Madden.
