I am a firm believer in the notion of flirting with life. Of seeing the beauty in all things; treating the world as a virtual playground; and radiating confidence, cleverness, and passion at all times. Thus, when I was approached by FlirtCatalog to review one of their products, I felt as if it was a stroke of fate. After all, I flirt with life, they flirt with fashion...it seemed like the perfect pairing, mais oui?
I contemplated the Studded Backpack Convertible Handbag, and swooned over the ultra-cozy Stripe Sweater Hoodie with Pin; but, ultimately, settled on the Embellished Clutch - a selection that I do not regret for a moment.
Unlike the standard embellished fare which highlights studs or sequins {detailing that I love, mind you}, the Embellished Clutch features a more sophisticated touch in the form of jewel and metal accents that create the ideal amount of glitz and glamour set upon a frosted rose gold / pewter body that literally screams Ice Princess. I paired it with a winter white look last week {white denim, white sweater, fawn-colored boots}, and felt that it added the perfect hint of sparkle {and made me feel as if I were in a winter Michael Kors advert).
My favorite aspect is the size...it's small enough to serve as a clutch {holiday parties, anyone?}; yet large enough to carry your daily essentials for a day of shopping - and the adjustable shoulder strap works for either look. And I most certainly don't mind the conversation-starter element that it possesses either - everyone seems intrigued by the detailing!
After receiving this pretty, I am already planning on doing a bit of holiday shopping on the site. Something tells me my BFF's wouldn't mind finding the Gold Chain Tie Necklace or Side Studded Clutch in their stockings this year!
