I love the opacity of this color! While I used two coats for these pictures, I can honestly say that it was almost a one-coater {seriously, who doesn't love that?}. If you're a purple fan, chances are this shade won't be terribly unique for your collection; however, it's a nice, vampy plum hue that's a nice change from the standard oxblood reds you see during the fall months. For those of you who are worried that it's too dark {i.e. black in some lighting}, rest-assured...this one always, always looks purple. Also pertinent...it looks gorgeous with silver jewelry.

Dark plum is still one of my all time, go-to nail color faves! What I love about the color is the contrast to my pale skin :) I just got a new one that is just fab, Night Violet by Avon... it's the perfect plum with just the right amount of gold sparkle.
