I’m not one to make impulse polish purchases, but my Marie Antoinette-obsessed side refused to allow me to leave Target without this lacquer in hand. Surprising? Mais non! Seriously, how could you possibly pass up a color titled Versailles Romance? Anyway…
…impulse purchase or not, this color has catapulted itself into my Top. 10. Favorites. Of. All. Time. Yes, it is that gorgeous. The formula is easy to work with - a bit on the sheer side, but very buildable. The shimmer {not to be confused with frosty finishes, which I am so not a fan of} is mainly noticeable in sunlight; but even when it’s hiding the color is just gorgeous. Feminine, refined, and sophisticated yet playful and springtime perfect all at once. This color comes highly, highly recommended - I may actually go back for a second bottle.
P.S. This is almost an exact dupe for Chanel Pêche Nacrée and NARS Orgasm, but a quarter of the price of both; so if you’ve been eyeing either of those colors, but don't want to shell out the cash, this is a great alternative.
