Say hello to Sole Society's Vivienne Ankle Bootie in Black.
A shoe that gives new meaning to the lyrics
"These boots were made for walking..."
Last week I tucked these beauties in my carryall when I headed for LA. At 3" the heel seemed perfectly apropos for wining, dining, and shopping...and I couldn't have been more right.

They kept me completely comfy while rifling through racks of vintage Teddy Bear Coats seemingly ripped from Margot Tenenbaum or Penny Lane's personal wardrobe at the Rose Bowl Flea Market; while playing the part of chic sophisticate for a late-night dinner {I paired them with black tights and a sequin mini}.

The leather strap detailing is the perfect luxe counterpoint to the urbane vibe of the suede construction. Even better? The midnight black hue makes me look leggy {especially when coupled with an all-black ensemble}; and for a girl who teeters just a smidge above the 5'1 mark, that. is. everything.

Walking in LA? Totally doable in these babies. I may just need to add the Mushroom / Black and Tan to my bootie collection next.

    I could not tell these were ankle high! Your leggings are the perfect black shade!
    I'd honestly get one in every shade girl.
    The are great and so versatile.
