NOTD: Essie Toggle to the Top

Unexpected is the way to describe Toggle to the Top. Before application I had my mind set on a ruby red shade that rivaled Dorothy's sparkly slippers, but Toggle to the Top is far different. Not a bad different; just an unexpected one.

Toggle to the Top is not a red shade per se. It's a blackened red shade. One that would have fit perfectly into a fall collection, but works just as well for winter. Yes, the promised garnet red glitter is present; but it's resting in a blackened jelly, so you wind up with this ridiculously chic and vampy combo.

At one coat I was iffy; at two I was in love. Formula was a breeze to work with - opaque in two coats, and with top coat, it stayed intact for 5 days with little to no tipwear.

    Oooh! I love this!! It really is perfect for fall/winter. I also would have expected a ruby red...but still quite glitzy and deep and posh!
