february crush list!

There is no better time of year to swoon {after all, this is the season of romance}; thus, I bring you my February Crush List.

february

1. perfect flush blush I've only recently begun to dabble in the blush world, so I haven't found one singular color to stay true to; rather, I mix shades or switch back and forth between a few. For this reason, I have fallen in love with the Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush from Too Faced. Each one is a trio of complementary colors that can be worn solo, or swirled together for your perfect flush. Something About Berry is too dark for my light skintone; but Candy Glow and Peach Beach are heaven for my fair complexion.

2. off the shoulder There's something very off-duty casual-meets-sexy about a slouchy, off the shoulder top. I love the effortless fit and flow, and how they can be dressed up or down. Pair Free People's Story Teller Tee with cutoff denim once warmer weather arrives; or style Free People's Terry Sunnyside Hoodie with skinnies and boots for a saucy, rumpled look.

3. ear cuffs I'm admittedly late to the ear cuff party; but they have most definitely caught my eye recently. The fact that they give you that multi-pierced look is obviously a draw; but what makes them so appealing for me is their level of elegance. My top picks are Kismet by Milka's Wonder Ear Crawler, Bing Bang's Baguette Spike Ear Cuff, and Kismet by Milka's Left Honeycomb Ear Cuff.

4. spangled mermaid skirts Being a vertically challenged girl, I have no love for maxi skirts. That said, sequins. change. everything. I've had this outfit photo on my inspiration board for over a year now, and immediately thought of it when I spotted this Free People Sequins for Miles Maxi Skirt. Obsessed doesn't even begin to describe how much I love this skirt. Gorgeous, yes?

5. peep-toe booties Ordinarily my thoughts regarding peep-toe booties are along the lines of why bother? Perhaps I simply needed to find the perfect pair - these DV by Dolce Vita Marana Booties in Cafe and Nude are it. The buckle and perforated detailing keep them on trend without being too trendy; while the neutral hues make them ideal for winter-to-spring transitioning. I'd style them with cuffed skinnies and slouchy tops.

  10. I love the off the shoulder look on tops. I'm tempted to buy lots of off the shoulder sweaters to see me through the rest of winter.
