april crush list!

1. 80s-inspired swimsuits I love baring my belly in itty bitty bikinis come summertime; but currently my heart has been captured by Wildfox's 80s-inspired swimsuits which, with their high-cut legs and sassy open-backs manage to bridge the gap between Saved By the Bell's Kelly Kapowski and the iconic Baywatch babes. My faves? The Hamburger Helper 80s Swimsuit in Multi {it makes me think of In-N-Out!}; the Starshine Swimsuit in Red; and the Barbie 80s Swimsuit in Dreamhouse {because anything Barbie is necessary}.

2. pop Ciaté nail polishes hold HG status in my polish stash due to their incredible formulas and ingenuity; so it should come as no surprise that I'm seriously swooning over their POP Beauty collection which is a series of mini pot applicators housing cream blushes, illuminators, and bronzers. I'm hoping to add the Blush Pop™ Crème Blush in Darling, Glow Pop™ Crème Highlighter in Starlight, and Glow Pop™ Crème Bronzer in Honolulu to my makeup bag v soon.

3. ankle-wrap flats Flat sandals are seriously meh to me, but add an ankle-wrap strap and I'm all ooh la la, gimme gimme gimme! I love neutral and/or gilded tones for the summer season {so as to give you that legs for days look}, so my top picks are Steven's Alaina in Bone Multi, and Splendid's Tayler Lace Up Gladiator Sandals in Beach.

4. power couples Choosing mani and pedi shades that perfectly correlate with one another is something I constantly struggle with during the spring and summer so I am basically obsessed with SEPHORA Formula X's The Power Couples- 4 Mani/Pedi Duos set which, essentially, takes the brain work out of putting together a stellar polish pairing. Genius, yes?
