links à la mode: the IFB weekly roundup {august 4, 2016 edition}

Gosh, I love fashion, and according to my family I’ve always loved fashion. I’m told {teased} that ‘mall’ was my first word. Furthermore, a couple weeks ago, after escaping the heat for the evening at my local mall with my little family, my two year old exclaimed–no, demanded–that she wanted to “do” the mall again! Sweet child o’ mine!

While my shopping experience preferences have evolved over time, my roots can still be appreciated. This week, IFB bloggers were appreciating the trends of Summer with a knowing eye towards Autumn. Denim on denim, athleisure, rompers, and monochrome looks. Accessorizing seemed to be at the top of many lists with vests, chokers, straw hats, and a wide assortment of handbags–from tech to quirky. Think you could be in a wardrobe rut? Consider two similar but different perspectives for dressing on the daily.

Just like the mall, there is a little bit of everything this week. Pick and choose, or read it all. There is certainly something for everyone. My poor mother… she just wanted to take me to the beach. This mother doesn’t.
