Tightwad Tuesday: Blank Denim Leather Motor Skinny Pants for a Steal

There comes a time in every girl’s life when she must bid a fond farewell to being fair, faithful, and friendly and simply let loose. To push aside thoughts of what others think; to speak her mind without hesitation; to salute her individuality in every manner of the term – be it her style of dress, her razor-sharp tongue, or her piercing gaze. Kitty cats, by no means am I telling you to go out and rob a bank or become involved in some other debauchery or outlandish behavior; I’m simply instructing you to free yourself from restraints and allow the true you to shine through. And if you ask me, there is no better way to highlight your freedom; your introduction to rebellion, than via leather pants. And there is no more flattering pair for one’s form than Blank Denim’s Leather Motor Skinny Pants.

Darlings please don’t be frightened of such a slick style; leather pants are not something to shy away from. Whether you’re the girl next door or a parent’s worst nightmare, you can, and will, don these with glee. But I digress. Perhaps I’m being too harsh on all of you. If you must know, I am trying to convince myself to be daring enough to channel my inner biker babe with such accoutrement at this very moment; and I think I may have succeeded.

Leather pants are an instant confidence booster. They make you feel wild and out of control even if you’re simply styled in them while browsing an independent bookshop or moseying about the mall, on the prowl for cute boys. They are seductive and slithery with a come hither allure that is fashion’s answer to the cocked eyebrow; thus, your (and my) wardrobe simply cannot survive without a pair. Especially one with as much attitude as that proffered up courtesy of the spiked studs around the pockets, and hidden ankle zippers found adorning the Leather Motor Skinny Pants.

But alas, the dangerous hardware, and wicked construction is not meant to be. While the epitome of perfection in terms of legwear; the $159.00 price tag that comes attached to Blank Denim’s beauties is outrageously high for a look that can truly only be rocked a handful of times per month for fear of being labeled as extreme, or going overboard in the leather department. Forever 21’s Leatherette Skinny Pant, however, is just right in terms of cost.

At $29.80 a pair, the faux leather crafting, matte black hue and metal exterior, and “snug as a bug in a rug” fit are the ideal way to please passersby, yourself, and your bank account!

Are you on the verge of a splurge, or tempted by a tightwad moment?

Fashionably yours!

  36. Loving your writing style, as always!

I have just this last week been reminiscing about my skinny black leather pants that I binned a few years back :(

I wish I had kept them! I can see another pair in my future though! ;)
I think they can look classy if styled well.
Those Forever21's look like a fab buy - wish we had them here!

Hope your week is going great honey :)

  44. Great post Erica! I'm all about leather, lace and everything in between right now so this is right up my alley. The ironic thing is, I haven't tried a pair of leather pants on before (or yet!). I have my liquid leggings and that's about as close as I get, sigh. Then my shopping ban doesn't help so I guess I'm stuck with those for the time being!
Have you tried those F21 leatherette pants on? I saw them and was tempted to but then if they fit, I would have a hard time letting them go and walking away LOL you know how it is.

Aww and I'm glad I could make your day! You make mine every day with your comments too! So no need to thank me girl, you deserve it :)
