Thrifty Thursday: Anthropologie Ripped Page Wrap for Less

My loves, to your left please take a gander at Anthropologie’s refined Ripped Page Wrap; to the right, feast your eyes on Wet Seal’s ravishing Raw Edge Fleece Wrap.

Though the Wet Seal marvel is constructed out of a mix of cotton and polyester, as opposed to the ribbed jersey which makes up the ambrosial Anthropologie accessory; for just $24.50, in comparison to the 78.00 needed to take the Ripped Page Wrap home, it is every bit as capable of keeping you glamorous and warm come fall, at a price that leaves over enough extra cash to splurge on a new pair of boots!

Your turn loves…will you be thrifty or suckered into putting on your spendthrift cap?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to Anthropologie and Wet Seal for the pictures.

  1. Great choices, but I'd go for the Wet Seal version. I think Anthopologie is rarely worth the high price tag plus the color is so sensitive, it's better to opt for the cheaper alternative!

  10. hmm...on this one I am leaning toward the Anthro version. I actually like the cut better and I think the jersey fabric will last longer. I do like the price tag of the Wet Seal version though...this is a tough one!

  11. For me it would depend on how they fit. The Anthro version looks a little less bulky which I like.

  14. wow both of these are so feminine. I might get this..my evil plan is a fall full of romantic sweaters. I would really like some crochet ones- I saw a few by marc jacobs that were beyond lovely. I think people overlook that if worn with the right hair and jewelry a sweater can be as romantic as a dress. great post!

  15. I'm going to have to go with Anthro on this!! $78 is not too bad and I just love the collar and fabric better :) Now if you had said the anthro piece was $278, then I may have to consider the Wet Seal option!

  21. Anthro! I have never bought anything from there, but the fabric seems nicer. I might buy the Wet Seal for the beach though since it is so similar and great price. x

  26. As much as I ADORE Anthropologie, it's usually pricier than it should be. That being said, however, there's something about the Anthro version I like more than the Wet Seal one. Still, great find!
