♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Forever 21 Double Breasted Cardigan – as featured here; Forever 21 Fab Basic Knit Top in Purple; Truck Jeans Gray Stretch Skinny Jean via Alloy; Ribbed Knit Leg Warmers in Charcoal via Sock Dreams; Steven by Steve Madden Maryn Boot in Black; Susan Lucci Prim and Proper Round Stone and Simulated Pearl Cluster Ring in Hematite.

Reading: Dial Me for Murder by Amanda Matetsky. New York City + the 1950s + a journalist turned amateur sleuth = amour!

Glamourizing: Nails: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. Lips: mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Spice. Eyes: Maybelline New York The Colossal Volum’ Express in Glam Black.

Listening: My Only Wish (This Year) by Britney Spears. Merry, Merry Christmas in November!

Adoring: Parisienne headwear a la American Apparel’s Unisex Wool Beret. B. Makowsky’s Stanton E/W Satchel in Black Stingray. I bought it, I bought it, I bought it; and I amour! It is more phenom than I ever could have imagined! Dylan’s Candy Bar. I think I may need to join their Candy Club. Seriously.

Watching: The Baby Sitters Club. During the entirety of my adolescence I desperately wanted to be Dawn – even going so far as to wear little braids in my hair as her character frequently did; but after being exposed to What Claudia Wore, ummm…yeah, I’ve decided that I want to be the ever-stylish Claudia Kishi!

Desiring: Kate Spade New York Randi. Oui, as Albert Hammond said, “It never rains in Southern California…” Nevertheless, it is always good to be prepared; thus the reason these are a necessity. The question is; which color…the Black Shiny Rubber or the Cream Shiny Rubber? Decisions, decisions…le sigh! Jeffrey Campbell Bandit Suede Wedge Booties – the color block design has a certain…je ne sais quoi that I find downright irresistible. Le besoin, le besoin, l'amour! MICHAEL Michael Kors’ Carlie Boot. Blame it on the wintry adverts that first introduced me to these boots, if you’d like; but ooh…I’m in love. Every girl deserves a little faux fur in her life, non?

Quoting: Holly Golightly - “I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like Tiffany's.”

Awaiting: Illamasqua Nail Varnish in DWS. When Shop ‘N Chomp shared Sephora’s Friends & Family Coupon Code a couple of weeks ago; I took it as a sign that this lacquer had to be mine – I cannot wait for it to arrive!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

  1. I remember the BSC. I thought Dawn was my favorite, too. I even started to read the California Diaries, which was about Dawn's life in California. I love that double breasted cardigan, too. Absolutely wonderful.
