♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Forever 21 Rib Knit Collar Bomber in Cream; Forever 21 Spaghetti Strap V-Neck Top in Purple; Forever 21 Classic Skinny Jeans in Medium Denim; Sam Edelman Shalin Faux Fur Boots in Smoke Stack Gray; Key to Love Double Ring via Forever 21.

Reading: Splendor (Luxe Series # 4) by Anna Godbersen. It is like the end of an era, coming to the last book in this series; but ohmigosh what an incroyable conclusion it is shaping up to be!

Glamourizing: Nails: Nicole by OPI’s The Next CEO from the Liquid Metals Collection. Le most enchanting champagne hue you will ever lay eyes on. J’adore! Lips: mark Glow Baby Glow Luxe Hook Up Lip Gloss in Petal Luxe. Eyes: mark Mini Mark It Stick Hook Up Stick for Eyes in Shell.

Listening: Hold It Against Me by Britney Spears. Despite the fact that there are times when some of the lyrics remind me of cheesy pick-up lines, I’m un petit obsessed. J’adore!

Adoring: Chunky platforms capable of transporting one back to the time of free love, free spirits, and, my personal favorite…Woodstock, a la Forever 21’s Wooden Platform Heel, Steven’s Grifin Platform Clogs, and Xhilaration’s Teanna Heeled Sandals. Katy Perry for OPI’s Black Shatter. Literally the most amazing thing since sliced bread. Trust me. American Apparel’s Stretch Floral Lace Stirrup Legging. L'infinité incroyables de temps! These would look utterly amazing with a pair of black suede shoeties like Rosegold’s Genie Suede Platform Booties or Pelle Moda’s Kenda Suede Booties. I die!

Watching: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Original Movie. Oh, how I long to be April O’Neil. She is le coolest reporter on la planète!

Desiring: Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen. Speakeasies, flappers, the Jazz Age…swoon! The Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake from Stand in New York City. Non, it is, and never will be Starbucks’ Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, but ooh, it makes me giddy all the same. Avoir besoin de, avoir envie de, le désir - tout de suite! ALDO’s Dukas in Taupe – it’s like the shoe version of The Addams Family’s Cousin It. L'amour, l'amour, l'amour, l'amour, l'amour! I want!

Quoting: T.H. White - “Perhaps we give the best of our hearts uncritically – to those who hardly think about us in return.”

Awaiting: The release of Candace Bushnell’s Summer and the City - le sequel to The Carrie Diaries; the very book which consumed my every waking moment for an entire 24-hours until I had devoured it from cover to cover. Don’t try to conceal the truth, kitty cats; I know I’m not the only one who finds the young Carrie Bradshaw irrésistible dans chaque quelle façon du mot. She is utterly phenom, is she not?!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

  2. I'm up to a good old fashioned New England winter this week. Sleet and freezing rain yesterday, with much more snow predicted Friday. Definitely a great boot season is going on here, and will be for many weeks to come!

  35. Hi, Ms. E. I'm currently adoring chunky platforms, too. I currently have the chocolate version of the Teanna shoes from Xhilaration in my shopping cart at Target. They would look so nice with the Floral Lace Stirrup Leggings. I'm also adoring Combat Boots a la Rooney Mara in Nightmare on Elm Street. This is the first I'm hearing of Summer and the City, though. I'm now officially freaking out and I now have a reason to read The Carrie Diaries. Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.
