What a passionate, expressive voice. Listening to her music takes on a new meaning now that she's gone.
ReplyDeleteRIP Amy Winehouse
ReplyDeletei have always love her jazzy voice.
ReplyDeleteI always hoped she'd get back on track and release some new music :( Either way, her contribution to music will forver live on.
ReplyDeleteYou Know I'm No Good is such an amazing song. One of my favorites. Such a tragic thing to happen for someone so young.

you know, i was never much of a amy winehouse fan.... but it looks like you have a good list here!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sick to know this talent is gone forever. Her music is timeless. It brought jazz back to a generation which didn't even know it existed...
ReplyDeleteSeriously so sad. She was so talented.
ReplyDeleteXo

She had great talent and an incredible voice.

This is a great tribute to Amy. She was way too young to be gone from the world.
ReplyDeleteExcellent tribute. It is so sad that she's gone...especially at such a young age...
ReplyDeleteSo sad.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so cute though :)
RIP... Lovely tribute, darling.

A legend too soon but I think she was born to go down this way; with the rest of the greats who changed music. I think she was a pioneer for strong female artists that have come out since. Soulful chicks who are light years more talented than the Britney bubblegum types. It unfortunately takes tragic people like her to make a difference in music. It's just how it is. :o(
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted these songs--I've always been a fan of her music. So sad that it ended this way.

ReplyDeleteI think we were on the save brainwave today :) Love her music. She's gone way too soon.
ReplyDeleteShe was so talented. I love Back to Black.
ReplyDeleteReally such a sad and unfortunate loss.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Amy! Great tribute playlist!
ReplyDeleteohhh no doubt my song of the week is rehab. Before she died I never really liked it, now I like the slow, unsteady bit. I am definitely the kind that make the artist more famous and rich after they died. Great playlist (as always)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
