choose your chic...

When it comes to choosing sunnies, for me it's a no-brainer. Designer {I will forever dig YSL and Oliver Peoples} and Oversized {perfect for concealing tired eyes lacking makeup}. Shopping for regular eyeglasses, on the other hand...epic. fail. I've yet to find a frame that suits my face {or style tastes}; so when I'm sans contacts I'm basically stumbling around {in heels!} relying on the shadowy outlines of people, places, and things to find my way. I feel a change coming on, however, since spotting these uber-chic Dolce & Gabbana styles.

Dolce & Gabbana DG3055B 520 in Tortoiseshell and Dolce & Gabbana DG3058B 692 in Apricot / Peach on top; Dolce & Gabbana DG3124 1723 in Dark Grey Pearled and Dolce & Gabbana DG3108 501 in Black on bottom.

The former are perfect for sophisticated tête-à-têtes when you want to project flirtiness laced with professionalism {very grown-up and office apropos}; the latter ideal for adding a youthful-meets-playful kick to everything from pencil skirts and pumps to skinny denim and hoodies. All of the above? Completely necessary additions to my barren eyeglasses collection. Now I just need to settle on a few new styles from YSL, and I'll be good. to. go.

    I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow. Can't wait to get new glasses for the first time in like five years!! Definitely going to get hipster chic.
