Plaid has many faces - it can play the part of prep; perfectly highlights the grunge movement; and, my personal favorite, takes on a little punk-meets-rock 'n' roll vibe when coupled with spikes, studs, and buckles {oh my!}.

A red plaid country/western button-down pairs perfectly {or should I say punkily?} with a black palette. An A-Line Mini and Crystal Stacked Rings add a touch of girly glitz-and-glam to the look; while ankle boots decked out in buckles and studs {also loving these in the Brown Sugar and Army shades} contributes edge. Stay fierce with a choker that blends pearls and spikes for a high-fashion good girl gone bad motif; and round it all off with an oversized clutch embellished with a mix of metallic studs {bonus: it doubles as an iPad / Tablet case}.

    Oh so cool plaid. I so love the plaid shirts this year. I'm not sure why. Maybe because they feel like they are made for girls. Finally. But then again, I might be behind on the times.

    I need a bootie like this one, maybe a little less heel though. That one isn't too high, but I'm 6 ft tall...don't really need one at all!! :) Love this look.
