cat eyes & skinny jeans: december crush list!

1. sequins Hi sparkle. Seriously though, there is no better time of year for sequins than December {I mean, holiday soirees, much?}. I personally love to style them with chunky, oversized knits and boots for a low-key, cozy chic look; but pairing them alongside cropped jackets and heels is never a bad idea either. My current faves: Free People's Time to Shine Sequin Shorts in BRONZE {that color!}, and Haute Hippie's Sequin Embellished Skirt in MIDNIGHT {how sassy is that slitted, sparkly overlay?}.

2. antiqued shadows Ladies, I have been seriously, capital O obsessing over shadows with an antique feel to the color. You know what I'm talking about: burnished undertones that make subtle smoky eyes a snap and are just gorgeous to look at in the pan {because eyeshadow porn is a total thing}. On my wish list: NARS' Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in PASIPHAE, Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill Silk Eye Shadow in 6 KHAKI PULSE, and NARS' Single Eye Shadow in NIGHT PORTER. Be still my shadow loving part.

3. noir knits There's just something about a black knit that my heart skip a beat. Add in the off the shoulder aesthetic, and I'm all ZOMG! I just ordered EXPRESS' Oversized Open Cable Knit Tunic Sweater in PITCH BLACK 58 {as well as the Olive Green 792 shade}; and now that I've spotted Fashion Union's Off Shoulder Cable Knit Jumper in BLACK, I'm thinking it may need a personal invite to my wardrobe, as well!

4. cat eyes While cat eyes are basically my makeup signature {hence the name of this blog}, lately I've been going slightly more extreme with my liner looks - making the wing thicker and darker than I did in the past. With that change, I'm dying to try a few new eye liners to perfect the feline look. The foam tip of Lancôme's ARTLINER - Precision Point EyeLiner in NOIR is something I have never experienced, so I'm definitely curious; and I have had incredible success with Ciaté London's entire makeup line {not just nail plish}, so I'm dying to try their Chisel Liner High Definition Tip Eyeliner in BLACK. Who doesn't love a good cat eye, amiright?
