Rita Ora x Rimmel London 60 Seconds Colour Rush Collection Review
Hi lovelies! Today I have one of my new favorite drugstore collections to share with you - the Rita Ora x Rimmel London 60 Seconds Colour Rush Collection! In the UK, the collection consists of 12 shades; but only 6 colors were released in the States {total bummer - please release the rest!}, and these. are. them.
Lose Your Lingerie {203}
Lose Your Lingerie is a Baby Pink Creme with Hidden Shimmer. Lose Your Lingerie is the quintessential girly pink, being both playful and saccharine. The formula was wonderful on this - very creamy and easy to work with. This shade just replaced the other baby pinks in my collection. Love it! This is 2 coats.
Don't Be Shy {323}
Don't Be Shy is a Hot Pink Creme. If Barbie pink is what you're on the hunt for then your search is over! Don't Be Shy is the epitome of vibrant! The color and formula is sumptuous, rich, and shiny. Even better...it's super fast dry. This is 2 coats.
Midnight Rendezvous {613}
Midnight Rendezvous is a Deep Blurple Creme. I always reach for shades like this when fall rolls around; thus, I became a fast fan of Midnight Rendezvous. The color is dark and vampy; yet it never looks black {a problem with some deep plums / reds}. The formula was fabulous. You can get away with 1 Coat; but I find that 2 evens things out, and creates a more opaque finish. Despite the fact that Midnight Rendezvous is significantly darker than Do Not Disturb, I did not experience any type of staining issues with this shade. This is 2 coats.
White Hot Love {703}
White Hot Love is a White Creme with Hidden Shimmer. When I say hidden, I mean hidden. The shimmer is barely discernible in this shade; but it is there. This is one of my favorites from the collection. It completely reignited my love for white polish - especially when someone told me it made me look tan. Natch! Perfect formula on this one, as well. This is 2 coats.
Do Not Disturb {863}
Do Not Disturb is a Teal Green Creme. And now we come to the downer of the collection {there had to be one, right?}. The color? Gorgeous. The formula? Flawless. The problem? Staining! I have never experienced such horrible staining from a polish before. It was just indescribably horrible. My palms, cuticles, nails were all teal! Given that experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this shade. This is 1 coat {I should have used 2}.
Breakfast In Bed {873}
Breakfast In Bed is a Mint Creme with Hidden Shimmer. You know me and mint polishes; so, of course, Breakfast In Bed is my # 1 fave from the collection! This is the first mint polish I have ever used that didn't require 3 or more coats for opacity; thus, it is my new mint go-to. This is 2 coats.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I am massively impressed with the quality of this collection. These Retail for $1.99 per bottle; yet have the type of quality formula that you expect more from higher-priced brands such as Essie or OPI. My top picks are Breakfast In Bed and Don't Be Shy.
AVAILABILITY
