Buttered Popcorn is such a fun neutral shade w flare that feels so fresh for spring! At one coat you can use it as a confetti-like topper over another base shade; but at three coats you get this glam opacity! The formula here is good - drying fast between layers so application doesn't feel gloppy; while the combo of pale yellow + glittering gold perfectly captures the look of yummy, scrummy, buttery popcorn!

Are you swooning as much as I am right now? Like OMG

Princesses Rule! is the type of girly hue that will make you instantly feel like a Disney Princess. The shade is just so effervescent and bubbly that you can't help but to feel like a royal! This one is incredibly sheer at coat one; however, it builds beautifully to the opaque pretty you see here. Be mindful of dry time - since you're applying three coats, you do have to allow a longer amount of time for drying...but it's worth it!

Two coats of Sally Hansen Insta Dri x Jelly Belly Nail Color in Coconut. White Creme.

Y'all know how much I love white creme polishes, so obvs Coconut was the first shade from this collection on my radar; but omg babes what. a. letdown.

Here's the sitch, Coconut is a runner, and wanted nothing more than to flood my cuticles; but what was worse than the formula itself was the brush. Tbh it drips an obscene amount of excess polish onto the nail, and creates a huge, gloppy mess. My advice: wipe the brush {from the stem/handle, all the way down to the brush head} as much as possible before applying, otherwise application is a nightmare.

Color-wise though...I l-o-v-e. Opacity is reached in two coats, and the color is bright and long-lasting {no chips in 6 days!}. Nevertheless, I'd say this one is a pass due to the application issues. Womp womp.

Two coats of OPI's Classic Nail Lacquer Collection in Berlin There Done That. Taupe Greige Creme.

Okay, not my typical nail go-to; but this one caught my eye and I had to give it a shot!

Berlin There Done That is one of those ultra-chic nail colors that works as a neutral, but feels just the tiniest bit more edgy. The formula her was perfect - being the ideal density and consistency for two easy swipes and a top coat that lasted well over a week. Highly recommend this one for sweater weather and beyond!

OPI Spring 2019 Tokyo Collection Mini Infinite Shine 5 Piece Set Swatches + Review

I'm obsessed with all of the Tokyo things, so finding out that OPI was feeling Tokyo for Spring 2019? Obvi one of the most exciting things eva! I immediately grabbed the Spring 2019 Tokyo Collection Mini Infinite Shine 5 Piece Set, which includes the 3 colors you see above in addition to OPI's Infinite Shine ProStay Primer {base coat} and Infinite Shine ProStay Gloss {top coat}; which, if you haven't tried them, are the best base and top coat on the market {they've been my go-tos for years!}. Check out my thoughts on this fab five below!

Samurai Breaks A Nail is a Bright Purple with Blue and Red Microshimmer. Talk about a gorgeous color! Samurai Breaks A Nail is one of the v few purple hues that has ever caught my eye; but that blue and red microshimmer throughout is on another level. Not gonna lie here, the formula is quite thin, so you def need a triple layer to keep it from looking patchy; but that little bit of extra effort is 100% worth it. Must have! This is 3 coats.

I'm On a Sushi Roll is a Teal Creme. I've been on a pink-to-dark-berry binge lately, so I was super excited to try this bright beauty on for size - and not just because the name is tdf! I'm On a Sushi Roll is a must. have. for the warmer months! The bright tone is eye-catching + playful; while the formula is the absolute bomb to work with! Not gonna lie, it's thinner than I expected so you def need at least two coats; but the pigmentation and staying power make it so worth it! This is 2 coats.

Another Ramen-tic Evening. Pink Lilac Creme. Can we just take note of the fact that OPI went hard with the names of these polishes when they created this collection? Like wowza I dig it! Another Ramen-tic Evening is billed as a dusty rose creme; but it def reads more pinky lilac on the nail - which I absolutely l-o-v-e for spring! The formula here is a liiittle runny, but still incredibly easy to work with, and v easy to build. If you were a fan of OPI's Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon you'll love this one! This is 2 coats.

I've been craving pastel polishes lately, and this pretty instantly caught my eye!

Lavendare to Find Courage is a oh-so-necessary-for-spring shade that is identical to the color seen in the bottle. IMO it leans more pink than lavender; but either way it's a stunning shade that you don't want to miss. Formula is fab! This bad boy has the potential to be a OCW if you use a heavy hand - I went lighter in my application, so used two. If you dig ultra-feminine shades this one is calling your name!
