♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Forever 21 Ribbed Tank Top in Blue; Forever 21 Resin Whisker Denim Short in Denim Washed; Seychelles Pickford Sandal in Gold; Forever 21 Rhinestone Arrow Connector Ring in Gold.

Reading: The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton.

Glamourizing: Nails: OPI What’s With the Cattitude? from the Shrek Forever After Collection. Lips: mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in Peek-A-Boo. Eyes: mark Mini Mark It Stick Hook Up Stick for Eyes in Cocoa Bean.

Listening: The Mating Game by Bitter:Sweet. If you have not yet heard this song, you don’t know what you’re missing. Listen to it tout de suite, mon doux!

Adoring: American Apparel’s Cotton Spandex Ruched Front Tube Bra - le perfect complement to the Wildfox Heather High Waist Shorts lurking in your closet, mais oui? Coral, aqua, lavender, sangria…I’ll take a small in all 37 colors, s'il vous plait! Sailor-esque accoutrements with the power to make one feel retro, glamorous, and oh-so nautical. My favorite pretties at the moment? TEXTILE Elizabeth and James’ Bette Wide Leg Jeans in White Out, By Malene Birger’s Nacci Stripe Sailor Shorts in Cream, and DSQUARED2’s Jackie Sailor Pants in Dark Blue. Bon voyage, darlings! Tweed. Oui, tweed. There is something quite charming and sophisticated about the texture that I absolutely refuse to resist. Thakoon’s Tweed Full Miniskirt with Belt, Alice + Olivia’s Tweed Cady Cuff Shorts, Elizabeth and James’ Billy Tweed Shorts…love, love, love!

Watching: Eloise at the Plaza. Sometimes the absolute best advice one can receive is that from a precocious six-year-old living in one of the most glamorous hotels in New York City!

Desiring: Free People Sahara Star Sweater in Strawberries and Cream Combo. Form-fitting enough to retain its feminine finesse; yet laced with just the right amount of slouch to give it that borrowed-from-a-cute-boys-closet look I adore so much. Le sigh. ‘Tis the epitome of the perfect sweater. Rebecca Minkoff Zoey Shorts with Leather Trim in Nude. If nude-colored shoes make one’s legs go on for days imagine what a pair of nude shorts will do, n'est-ce pas? Le besoin, le besoin, le besoin! Foley + Corinna Lady City Tote. There is something to be said for a luscious black handbag with the chameleon-esque ability to be worn unfolded, or folded for two completely different looks, mais oui? Additionally I’m quite smitten with the oversized fringe-tassel…who could resist an embellishment such as that? J’adore!

Quoting: Anais Nin - “Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”

Awaiting: Gossard’s Can Can Plunge and Can Can Short in Rouge courtesy of lingerieplease. If there is one thing every girl requires in life it is pretty underthings, j'ai raison?

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

great quote, and i've wanted to read the age of innocence for some time now... time to click it home, i guess, although it takes a while for it to arrive from the u.s. or u.k... i've just started reading 'one day' by david nicholls, as i've heard so many people say it's a great read, so i have something to read while i wait:)

I think nude shorts has to be the best idea I have heard for girls with short legs. As long as I don't look naked it will be fabulous. You always read such great books, and I would love to hear a review of them sometime on your blog.
