OPI Spring 2019 Tokyo Collection Mini Infinite Shine 5 Piece Set Swatches + Review
I'm obsessed with all of the Tokyo things, so finding out that OPI was feeling Tokyo for Spring 2019? Obvi one of the most exciting things eva! I immediately grabbed the Spring 2019 Tokyo Collection Mini Infinite Shine 5 Piece Set, which includes the 3 colors you see above in addition to OPI's Infinite Shine ProStay Primer {base coat} and Infinite Shine ProStay Gloss {top coat}; which, if you haven't tried them, are the best base and top coat on the market {they've been my go-tos for years!}. Samurai Breaks A Nail is a Bright Purple with Blue and Red Microshimmer. Talk about a gorgeous color! Samurai Breaks A Nail is one of the v few purple hues that has ever caught my eye; but that blue and red microshimmer throughout is on another level. Not gonna lie here, the formula is quite thin, so you def need a triple layer to keep it from looking patchy; but that little bit of extra effort is 100% worth it. Must have! This is 3 coats.
I'm On a Sushi Roll is a Teal Creme. I've been on a pink-to-dark-berry binge lately, so I was super excited to try this bright beauty on for size - and not just because the name is tdf! I'm On a Sushi Roll is a must. have. for the warmer months! The bright tone is eye-catching + playful; while the formula is the absolute bomb to work with! Not gonna lie, it's thinner than I expected so you def need at least two coats; but the pigmentation and staying power make it so worth it! This is 2 coats.
Another Ramen-tic Evening. Pink Lilac Creme. Can we just take note of the fact that OPI went hard with the names of these polishes when they created this collection? Like wowza I dig it! Another Ramen-tic Evening is billed as a dusty rose creme; but it def reads more pinky lilac on the nail - which I absolutely l-o-v-e for spring! The formula here is a liiittle runny, but still incredibly easy to work with, and v easy to build. If you were a fan of OPI's Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon you'll love this one! This is 2 coats.
