Not my typical color, I know, but I couldn't decide on a shade for the week, so I played Eeny, meeny, miny, moe {because clearly I'm 5} and landed on this little lady.

A-Rose At Dawn...Broke By Noon is a pink with a grown-up feel to it due to the metallic finish. The formula is flawless, serving up even coats and no brushstrokes in minutes; with a wear-time exceeding the 5 day mark. Would I wear it again? Honestly, no, because it's simply not my kind of color; but if it's a hue that you think is haute you need to grab it stat girlies!

Babes, I was bummed when textured polishes went bye bye, so imagine my excitement when I came across...Pop Culture! Initially I thought it was paying homage to Andy Warhol and his brights {which it is}; but it's also a reference to the finish...a playful bubbly that pops!

I've been loving pinks lately, so Pink Bubbly was calling my name, and it. is. perf. This shade is the epitome of girly, and so much fun for the warmer months! The bubbly finish makes painting your nails effortless; and the fact that it dries lightning fast is amaze! Additional bonus: no top coat required. Natch!

Holo {not to be confused with shimmer or metallic} isn't really my thang; but I was feeling unicorn and stardust vibes so I grabbed this beauty.

Holo Lover! {gotta love that nod to SJP's Carrie Bradshaw} is a gawgeous pink with magical qualities - specifically, the way in which it catches the light, casting prismatic designs around you. Holo Lover! dries matte, so you def need a top coat to bring that holo to life. My one qualm? I had chips on two fingers in less than 24 hours requiring touch-ups. Kiiind of a pain.

China Glaze Chic Physique 6PC Micro Mini Nail Kit Swatches + Review

Rarely do I find a mini set with all of the colors included calling my name; but when I spotted the China Glaze Chic Physique 6PC Micro Mini Nail Kit my brain basically started singing I've got to have it. The shades are v 80s Jazzercise chic, with a nod to Bruno Mars + Cardi B's Finesse, with an electrifying power to pump. you. up. Peep all six sassy shades below!

Bodysuit Yourself! is a Watermelon Creme. Ermagersh babes! You know I'm not typically a fan of pink/red shades; but Bodysuit Yourself! is the perf hybrid of the two - and so phenom for summer pedis! The formula here is rich and gummy; however, it was a little bit thinner than I expected - leaving a few barely-noticeable bald spots. A heavier hand during application or a third coat would curb that tho. Still excellent in my book - love! This is 2 coats.

Glamletics is a Periwinkle Creme. Never have I ever met a baby blue/periwinkle shade that I didn't love, so y'all know that I went all heart eyes when I was introduced to Glamletics. Glamletics is so my color jam for spring / summer 2018! Though largely a crème shade, there is the sliiightest hint of pink iridescent shimmer in certain lights that gives it an ethereal, unicorn horn vibe. Random description, I know; but simply how I see it. Formula here is flawless - zero chips, and literally no tipwear {even after 7 days of heavy typing and texting}. Natch! This is 2 coats.

Activewear, Don't Care is a Teal Crelly. Fact of the day: While I love a good mint green, teal is a shade that v rarely does it for me; so I can tell you right off the bat that Activewear, Don't Care {love the name btw!} just didn't do it for me. I found it to be a v ho hum hue that felt sliiightly too dark to fit in with summer vacay vibes; but that's me. Activewear, Don't Care is a v thin formula, which has more to do with the fact that it's a jelly/crème hybrid than anything else. I'm not gonna lie, the wear-time was phenomenal, with 0 chips and no tipwear for 6 days, so if you're a fan of shades like this one, grab it! If not, I would say pass. Womp womp. This is 3 coats.

Low-Maintenance is a Dusty Rose Nude Creme. Plot twist: never have I ever fallen for a nude-esque nail color - I always find them too blasé and boring for my personality. But Low-Maintenance? Hi, I adore you... Low-Maintenance is one of those nail colors that is neutral with a playful yet feminine twist making it pure perfection for the workplace or after-hours. While the density of Low-Maintenance is excellent, it did feel a little bit sheer to me after two coats, so I added a third. For those of you who are heavy-handed with application, however, two should do the trick. Grab this one girls! This is 3 coats.

Get It Right, Get It Bright is a Lilac Shimmer. True story: shimmers are simply not my thing; but this one right here reminded me of a unicorn in the bottle, so I had to give it a whirl. OMG babes...a momet of silence to absorb the beauty of this...well, beauty. Get It Right, Get It Bright is simply magical. It's definitely on the thinner side; however it builds lightning fast! While I went for 3 coats here; if you're slightly more heavy-handed with application, you can definitely get away with 2! This is 3 coats.

Pilates Please is a Peach Creme. Peach colors are basically my ride or die during the spring and summer months, so you know that I was allll over this bad boy when I spotted it. Pilates Please is a peach that leans more towards the orange spectrum as opposed to the pink; however, it has a beautiful, bright undertone to it that still gives it a strong feminine feel - so even if you're not into orange, you will love this one. Trust. Like with the majority of the Chic Physique collection; Pilates Please has a fairly thin formula, so you do need multiple coats to avoid VNL. That said, the weartime is phenomenal! This is 3 coats.

Bright blue polishes always get me, so I had to take this bad boy home!

Color-wise, Days of Pop is everything you want for the summer {and 4th of July!}. It's playful and fun; and the bubbly texture coupled with the ocean blue shade give it a mermaid-esque feel.

My one qualm: you need a lot of coats to keep VNL at bay. Granted, this is ultra-fast dry; the fact that you have to apply coat after coat after coat can become a little tiring. Not a deal-breaker; but something to keep in mind.

I have been donning dark hues for months now; so when I saw the OPI Lisbon Collection Nail Lacquer Mini 4PC Set I immediately snatched it up! Those brights! Those spring feels! I legit could not resist! And let me tell you babes...from the first shade to the very last, this quartet is bomb! Take a peek at all of the pretty in 3, 2...

Tile Art to Warm Your Heart is a Mosaic Blue Creme. Spring-into-summer is legit not complete without a bright blue polish in your life - and this bad boy is one of the supercalifragibest I have ever laid hands on! Aside from being a brilliant bright, the formula of Tile Art to Warm Your Heart is just bomb! I wore this shade for 7 days without any tipwear or chips. True story babes! This one is a keeper! This is 2 coats.

Not only does it reach opacity in just two coats; it also makes you look super duper tan, and stays fresh for a full week! Repeat-wearing this baby! This is 2 coats.

Closer Than You Might Belem is a Sea Green Creme. Soooooo... this color. Pretty for spring, yes; but simply not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, Closer Than You Might Belem is a total winner for those of you who dig a Tiffany blue, or dusty mint green; but I prefer my mints and blues a bit brighter, and not so muted. Formula-wise Closer Than You Might Belem is good - slightly thin, but easy to build. While I only used two coats for these swatches; part of me would recommend trying a third to make it feel heartier and less prone to chips. Just saying. This is 2 coats.
