Tightwad Tuesday: Black Halo Keyhole Ruffle Sheath Dress for Less

Mon doux, to the left take a gander at Black Halo’s haute Keyhole Ruffle Sheath Dress in Royal Blue – the very same marvel seen donned by Britney Spears, Aubrey O’Day, Debra Messing, Taraji P. Henson, and Lisa Rinna; to the right brace yourself for the beauty of Hybrid’s daring Dress with Deep V Neck and Frill Sleeves in Copper (also available in Plum) via ASOS.

While the luscious Hybrid is constructed out of a polyester / elastane blend, as opposed to the polyamide / viscose / lycra of the Black Halo beauty; for just $148.41, in comparison to the $349.00 needed to make the Keyhole Ruffle Sheath Dress a part of your flirty frock collection, it is the perfect compromise for the girl on a budget – and allows one to indulge in both glamorous jewel tones (Copper and Plum)!

So mes chéris, what are you up to today? Will your AmEx take a beating with a splurge, or will you stay safe and thrifty with a frugal buy?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to REVOLVE and ASOS for the pictures.

Love the blue of Black Halo but I'm good with plum too, so I'd be quite happy with the ASOS dress!

Plum is such a great autumn color, I'd definitely go with the Hybrid, with just the right jacket as a topper.

I´m leaning more for the black halo. While both dress are gorgeous and very identical, blue is my darling. :)

The Asos dress is almost identical so I would definitely go with that although I LOVE the royal blue color of the other one!

These are fantastic comparisons, I love the Black halo dress colour, but that Hybrid one is just as good and more affordable.

it sucks that the asos version is made out of polyester, but it totally looks great and for a much better price. and i think this dress looks better on women with smaller busts.

I love black halo- what a good match. Even though Black Halo is technically knocking off each and every Victoria Beckham dress one by one.. God bless em.. ;)

I love these dresses but I'd have to pass on both--the necklines are a tad too deep for my own comfort.

The colors on both are so beautiful and rich, the look is really chic and sexy too! Would go with the cheaper one...always! LOL!
