Wrigley Wardrobe Inspirations

Lovers, Halloween has come early to Cafe Fashionista courtesy of the fabulous people of Wrigley who were kind enough to send me not only a candy haul (full of Skittles, Starburst, Life Savers Gummies, 5, Orbit, and Altoids), but a fire-engine red Morning After MAC Clutch from my favorite handbag designer - one Ms. Rebecca Minkoff - that is already proving to be my new BFF. All for what, you ask? That's simple, darlings - for sharing just how Wrigley is inspiring my wardrobe for fall, with all of you! Let's begin, oui?

Color-Blocking
The assorted bright colors which make up the Skittles Original Flavor, Skittles Blenders, Starburst Original Flavor, Starburst Sweet Fiesta, Life Savers Gummies 5 Flavor, and Life Savers Gummies Collisions candies have left me with a craving for mixing and matching bright colors that will make my wardrobe carefree, whimsical, playful, and flavorful come the chillier autumn months.

Rainbow Brite

Diane von Furstenberg Harrington Coat in Bondi Blue
Alice + Olivia Fierra Y Back Dress in Hot Pink
Joe’s Jeans Chelsea Skinny Jeans in Parakeet
Marc by Marc Jacobs Ozzie Square Lucy Bag in Bright Plum
Matthew Williamson Feather Miniskirt with Tulle in Red/Pink
Diane von Furstenberg Parker Suede High Heel Boots in Royal Blue
Nicole by OPI Yellow, It’s Me

Berry-licious
The rich blend of pink, fuchsia, plum, eggplant, and navy shades found in the Orbit Wildberry Remix and Orbit Strawberry Remix offerings have inspired me to add an array of highly-pigmented hues to my fall wardrobe that run the gamut of intoxicating merlots and garnets to decadent wines and bordeauxs which literally ooze glamour and affluence, and will correlate gorgeously with the pumpkin spice, rust, and cinnamon colors that make up the fall season.

Berry Bounty

Lover Serpent Lace Dress in Henna
House of Harlow 1960 Rey Bag in Bordeaux
Diane von Furstenberg Rebel High Heel Sandals in Cranberry
Foley + Corinna Tiered Pleated Blouse in Wine
Falke Soft Merino Tights in Merlot
Thakoon Twist Front Romper in Garnet
OPI Overexposed in South Beach from the OPI South Beach Collection Spring / Summer 2009

Shearlings and Chunky Knits
The winterfresh feeling provided by the cool flavors of the 5 Cobalt, 5 Vortex, 5 React2 Mint, and Altoids Smalls have me coveting coziness. Of course, coziness is only fabulous if it is infused with effortless chic; thus the reason I plan on seeking out winter white shearlings, and oatmeal-colored chunky knits and sweater dresses, pairing them with hearty caramel and cognac shades to create the ultimate in fall charm which juxtapose rustic with refined.

Fall Cozy

A.L.C. Cropped Fisherman Sweater in Cream
Club Monaco Becky Backpack in Brown
UGG Australia Maylin Long Cuff Boots in Chestnut
Juicy Couture Dolman Sleeve Sweater Dress in Heather Camel
BB Dakota Hunter Leather Jacket in Cognac
Forever 21 Lace Up Leatherette Shorts in Brown
OPI Tickle My France-Y from La Collection De France

You know how Wrigley products are inspiring my wardrobe for fall; now it's your turn. Tell me, dolls...how are Wrigley products inspiring your wardrobe for fall?

Fashionably yours!

Great color association going on here. For myself, I go for more neutral colors, the blacks, browns, caramels. But I'll bring in a splash of color in a scarf, or gloves, or a piece of jewelry. I like just a hint of the brights.

The BB Dakota jacket reminds me of the cold weather levels in Tomb Raider. And makes me want it that much more. XD
