NOTD: Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Peach Fuzz

Two coats of Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color in Peach Fuzz. Matte Yellow and Orange Bar Glitter in a Clear, Jelly Base.

True Story: When I first heard about the Fuzzy Coat polishes, I actually thought that they were, indeed, an actual fuzzy, sweater-like texture. Wrong. In truth, the Fuzzy Coat look is created with matte {non-sparkly} bar-shaped glitter packed in a clear, jelly base. These are perfect for layering over other polish shades as a glitter-like topcoat, or you can simply wear them on their own - which is the route I took.

Peach Fuzz caught my eye due to its mix of summery yellows and oranges {sunshine-inspired, yes?}; and is my favorite of the 8 Fuzzy Coat shades released {which includes Wool Lite, All Yarned Up, Tight Knit, Fuzz-Sea, Fuzzy Fantasy, Wool Knot, and Tweedy}.

Application was perfect. Within two coats I had reached full opacity; and, due to the bar-shaped glitter construction you can be a little more haphazard with your strokes than you would with a crème polish {making the process quicker}. What I loved about this shade is that it appears very neutral, so you could easily get away with wearing it in more professional-settings {always a plus}.

NOTE: This is a matte glitter; therefore, removal is slightly more difficult than with a non-glitter. I used a coat of Essie Sensitivity Base Coat between layers of the polish, which made removal significantly easier and faster.

I also thought that these polishes had a sweater-like texture :)

Loved your review. I've been wondering about this texture nail polish.

I'm using a Sally Hansen Salon effects this week with the peel on because of a bad thumb nail that went through some heavy book lifting..and its perfect for helping my thumb nail to recover.

Love this color. Great to know how this nail polish works. Still like my 'Confetti' moonstruck. Its just CVS doesn't carry this brand anymore.

Oh, I have one of these! I believe it's the color Fuzz Sea or something? It's blue and yellow. Lol. I haven't tried it yet, but I definitely need to!

Good call on the nail polish in between the glitter. Thanks for that tip. I have such issues with glitter!

Ooh do you know what, this is the first polish you've featured that I'm not head over heels for. Love the colour but not the 'fuzziness' - kinda weird for me.

Love, love the fuzzy coat look and style. I would love to wear this--just wouldn't love the process of taking it off.

I adore this texture! I want all of them! lolz
So, I was reading how paintingt 1 nail a diff colors was "in" now. I got mad because I have been painting my ring finger on both hands a coordinatng color for YEARS to break up the monotony of the same color!
*sheesh*
