5 beauty products I would buy again {part 4}

Read Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 of this series.

5 to try {part 4}

{1} Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo {$30.00} Half of the duo is a golden pink, the other is a white gold. I sweep a blush/bronzer brush through both, and wear it on the apples of my cheeks {you can also apply to forehead, nose, chin, and eyes}...so unbelievably gorgeous. It gives you the perfect, perfect natural {and incredibly beautiful} glow; and has a silky finish that never settles into creases. Definitely one of those can't-live-without products. Trust.

{2} L'Oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Carbon Black {$8.99} You know those felt tip eyeliners that dry out while you're applying {so frustrating, I know}? This is not one of them. Give it a few shakes, and you can create high-glam lines {including those tricky cat eye flicks}, in minutes. I've tried a lot of eyeliners lately {the life of a beauty / fashion blogger}, and found this one to give you the most control {ideal for beginners or pros}. Not to mention that the color is a rich black that never develops that grayed out look as the day goes on {I've worn it for 10+ hours with no issues}.

{3} NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel {5.00} If you love lip gloss but want a little more color, let me direct you to my new obsession...NYX Butter Gloss. This is available in 12 shades. My favorite is the Apple Strudel, which is a pale coral that looks great with dramatic eyes. The color payoff is much stronger than your standard lip gloss. It's buildable, so you can go sheer, bold, or layer it over your favorite similar-toned lippy. I find these to be very hydrating and moisturizing - like butter, only better. NOTE: These have a vanilla-laced scent upon application; however, it dissipates within a minute or two, so it is inoffensive {at least in my opinion}.

{4} Goody Start. Style. Finish. Cushion Paddle Brush {$4.59} Is it a Mason Pearson? No. But it is an affordable, and truly amazing, sturdy brush. From personal experience, it adds a great amount of volume, and makes hair feel soft, smooth, and silky. I use it to brush the ends of my hair when wet, then let my hair air dry before brushing throughout.

{5} OPI The Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection in Solitaire {$9.00} I shied away from textured polishes for quite some time because I thought their removal would be similar to that of a glitter; but Solitaire caught my eye, and completely proved me wrong. Solitaire is a soft white shade packed with tiny silver glitter. The color is not harsh or chalky {like your standard whites}; and the infusion of glitter gives the shade sparkle despite the fact that textures are matte. This color is seasonless, and looks exactly like just-fallen snow. So beautiful! And for the record...removal is nothing like a glitter {a billion times easier, in fact}. NOTE: I have swatches coming soon; or you can check them out on my Instagram here.

I never brush my hair, but how you described that brush is making me change my mind. More volume? Hmm... And so inexpensive!

Thanks for the reviews. The eyeliner sounds great and it is so hard to find one that lasts without smearing after a while!

I've been looking into different highlighters to add to my makeup routine so it's good to hear such a positive review about this one! Definitely going to look into it.

The NYX butter glosses are so good and smell so delicious! I can't get enough of that cake batter smell--YUM! My favorite is Tiramisu (beautiful nude!), but sounds like I need Apple Streudel too! I also have Peaches & Cream, and I can't wait till my Ulta gets all the new colors in stock. :)
