I've never felt a
deep-rooted desire to be a
groupie, or the
Almost Famous term...
Band-Aid; but having
covered the local music scene in my area for the past 7 years, and
moonlighting as a music blogger, I have always
adored the classic flick. Or, more specifically, the
boho chic character
Penny Lane {played
magnificently by
Kate Hudson}. So stumbling upon this
2011 Marie Claire Australia editorial aptly titled
Almost Famous?
Total dream come true. It
epitomizes the free-spirited bohemia that was the 1970s; while showcasing some of my
personal favorite looks for fall -
floppy fedoras, faux fur outerwear,
fringe embellishments...
