My holidays are incomplete if I don't buy all of the holiday nail collections, which is how OPI's All Stars 4-PC Mini Kit came into my life. It's sparkly, it's everyday classic, and it would make a killer stocking stuffer for the nail polish-loving gal in your life {or you!}. Let's take a look at the swatches!
Love Is In My Cards is a Classic Red Creme. OPI does a mean classic red creme, and Love Is In My Cards may be my favorite one of all. The application is just divine and the color itself is all sorts of apropos for the season of giving. This is 2 coats.
Is This Star Taken? is a Pale Gold Shimmer with Iridescent Icicles. You guys, I seriously have a love/hate relationship with this color. On the one hand, I love those little bar-shaped holographic icicles; on the other, I dislike the gritty texture they leave behind {even with top coat!}. Formula was flawless; though make sure you smooth the tips of your nails before the polish dries, otherwise the icicles will stick out and poke you/snag your clothes {such a pain}. If you can't decide between gold or silver, you'll love this because it's a bit of both. This is 2 coats.
Press * For Silver is a Champagne Rose Silver Frost. You see those brushstrokes right there? Yes, those ones. They're not even bugging me because I love this color so much. I was expecting your standard rose gold, but Press * For Silver is so much more, combining champagne rose and silver together to create a platinum effect that is so winter wonderland-inspiredI can't even! Tipwear isn't great with this shade. This is 2 coats.
Guys & Galaxies is an Oxblood Creme. I was expecting this shade to be my # 1 favorite from this quartet, but it isn't for two reasons: 1} the color is very been there, done that; 2} the removal process is horrible {we're talking staining galore and color everywhere}. The name is fun though. This is 2 coats.
