august crush list!

1. rugged booties Over the past year or so I've found that booties are basically my footwear BFF across all seasons; but when we're talking summer into fall styles they hold an even greater place in my heart. Especially if they have a bit of a rugged, lived-in look, come in 50 shades of brown, and are just as perfect with denim cutoffs as they are skinny jeans. A trio of my current faves? BP.'s Tandem Bootie in KHAKI SUEDE {only $79.90!}, Treasure&Bond's Winsor Block Heel Bootie in SAND SUEDE {obsessing over the versatility of this color!}, and Cole Haan's Hayes Block Heel Bootie in BROWN SUEDE {a little more sleek and chic, but the distressed toe lends an outdoorsy air}.

2. all of the olive As a green-eyed gal I'm forever on the hunt for green-based styles because they enhance my eyes. This year, however, as opposed to seeking rich emeralds, I've been swooning over all of the olive. Though a little more earthy, it's every bit as pretty as its jewel-toned counterpart, yes? My top olive picks are the mo? BP.'s Plaid Tunic Shirt in OLIVE BURNT DOYLE PLAID {plaid for fall? groundbreaking!}, and KUT from the Kloth's Diana Colored Denim Skinny Jeans in DARK OLIVE {I l-o-v-e colored denim for the cooler months - so cute with boots!}.

3. cognac carryalls The start of fall simply isn't the start of fall without cognac / caramel / whiskey-colored handbags, amiright? I'm currently crushing on Tory Burch's Leather Hobo in BARK {hobo aesthetics are so my homegirls!}, Vince Camuto's Abril Leather Shoulder Bag in WHISKEY {seriously digging the structured, equestrian-esque feel}, and Street Level's Faux Leather Bucket Bag in COGNAC {only $31.90!}.

4. beauty exclusives You all know the #NSale has been on my mind like whoa lately; but what you may not know is that their beauty exclusives have left me in a perpetual state of jaw. dropping. awe. But seriously...just take my money.
