Deborah Lippmann Sunrise, Sunset Nail Polish Set Swatches + Review

I spotted this Deborah Lippmann Sunrise, Sunset Nail Polish Set a few days before the Sephora VIB Sale started, so you know it was the first thing I Added To Cart once the sale launched. While, admittedly, the colors aren't super unique; I love how accurately they represent the whole sunrise to sunset sentiment. And the fact that they are seriously vacay-worthy makes them such a steal for summer 2017. Peep the pretty below!

Soak Up The Sun is a Pale Yellow Cream. Le sigh. This color is legit giving me all of the feels rn. Why don't more polish companies release yellows like this? Those pale hues that read more french vanilla than yellow? Obsessed! Soak Up The Sun is hands down my fave shade from this six-piece - it's one of those super wearable shades that make you look uber tan, and just feel clean and perfect. This one was slightly thicker than the rest of the collection; but still an overall breeze to work with. Unfortunately, this guy is camera shy, so you can't see how pretty the color is. Womp womp. This is 3 coats.

Sun Daze is a Light Peach Cream. OMG babes, never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would love this shade so much, but it is just fire! I was expecting a baby pink, but Sun Daze is a true pale peach, and I just can't get enough! The formula here was slightly thinner than the rest of the collection - requiring triple coats as opposed to the two coats needed for the rest of the Sunrise, Sunset stars; but I'm not complaining because it is so worth it! This is 3 coats.

Ultralight Beam is a Coral Cream. I lovelovelove a good coral once the summer starts, and Ultralight Beam may be one of my favorites yet! While some corals favor pink undertones, this particular one leans more orange - so it's a great choice for summer pedis! Application was flawless - this one is the perfect consistency for achieving an easy, breezy, no-fuss mani {even if you're a beginner!}. If you're seeking a fab vacay shade, keep this bad boy on your radar! This is 2 coats.

Fire On The Horizon is a Red Orange Cream. I rarely go for reds and oranges, but sometimes a color just gets me, and Fire On The Horizon is proof of that. This color tho...I love it! Fire On The Horizon is one of those blood orange shades that is perfect for all of you red mani fans looking for something fresh for the summer. This color in particular is a top fave of mine from this collection because it screams high-temps and barely-there bikinis. The formula here was brilliant - not too thick, not too thin. This is 2 coats.

Dusk And Summer is a Magenta Cream. Dusk And Summer was the color I was least excited about from this collection - not because it's ugly by any means {it's gorgeous tbh}, but because this color has been done so much in recent polish collections that I'm just over it. If you don't have this color in your personal collection, however, you'll dig it. The formula here was v easy to work with. I will admit that it was thinner than the other shades in the collection; but it still reached opacity quickly. This is 2 coats.

After The Glow is a Bright Purple Cream. Purple isn't typically my favorite nail shade; but I'm really loving this one right here. After The Glow is one of those purples with berry undertones that make it super apropos for summer, and prevent it from looking like a fall hue. The formula here was fantastic, being both smooth and creamy. My one qualm was chipping. This one started chipping after day one, and continued in that fashion until I finally removed it. Sure, the color is electrifying; but I found it to be too high maintenance of a mani to repeat-wear. Tossing this one. This is 2 coats.
