Babes, I’ve had this one in my stash for over a year now, so I figured it was time to take it out for a spin.
Mellow Yellow is the perfect fall yellow, as it’s deeper, more golden-toned than a bright summer yellow {yes, there’s a huge diff between the two!}.
While I l-o-v-e the color; I found the formula for this one less than desirable. Though easy to apply; it takes three coats for complete opacity, and then left a bumpy finish in its wake. I’m not writing it off yet; but I may have to try a different application process the next time I use it.

That does seem to be the problem with a lot of Sally's stuff. Although, recently I got Sally's Insta-dry and the 3 I got the formula was creamy and I only had to use one coat and it lasted a lot longer than the previous Insta-Dri formulas I had gotten a couple of years back. Usually, I get Sally Hansen because it's affordable, but I am trying to make wiser decisions when I get polishes these days. Cause I am stuck with boxes of polishes from the past. I have painted rocks all sorts of DIYs to use up the polishes and then of course, going to some place miles away to dispense of them. Sorry for the novel on the nail polish subject. Yes, I still love being able to do my own manicures and will continue and you are ever so help on the subject.
