Two coats of Essie Fall 2018 Nail Polish Collection in Say It Ain't Soho. Metallic Copper.

Gah girlenas! I have found fall in a bottle and it is glo-ri-ous!

Say It Ain't Soho is the polish pumpkin spice latte dreams are made of! The color is deep, rich, and decadent - perfectly encompassing the very essence of all things autumn. Even better? The formula is every bit as flawless as the captivating color. Say It Ain't Soho could easily be a OCW {I opted for two}, and applies like. a. dream. Legit want to wear it forever and ever!

NOTD: OPI Grease Nail Lacquer Collection in Pink Ladies Rule the School

Three coats of OPI Grease Nail Lacquer in Pink Ladies Rule the School. Medium Pink Creme.

Soooo...pink may be my favity-fave color; but it's not always my top pick for nail shades because it can feel a bit...boring at times. Pink Ladies Rule the School is a game-changer for me.

This pink leans more medium than pastel in tone, making it feel perfect as a transition shade from summer to fall. Though the formula is rich and creamy, I have a tendency to do light strokes, so I did need three coats to achieve full coverage {read: stave off VNL}; but it was so worth it! If girly shades are your thang you need this pretty lady in your life!

Essie Fall 2018 Mini Nail Polish Collection Kit Swatches + Review

I don't think I've used an Essie polish in over a year now, so when I spotted the Fall 2018 Mini Nail Polish Collection you know I clicked Add to Cart without hesitation! Babes, this quartet is everything for autumn through winter, with season-apropos shades that will see you through all of your soirees in style. Let's take a peek at the pretty, shall we?

Say It Ain't Soho is a Metallic Copper. This is 2 coats.

Stop, Drop & Shop is a Mulberry Red Creme. Yaaaasss, yaaassss, yaaaassss! Babes, finally we have a lemming! Is it just me, or are all fall reds practically identical? But this...this color right here is as necessary for autumn as your beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte. Stop, Drop & Shop is a brilliant brick red meets rusted brown meets burnt pumpkin. The formula is a bit thin, but easy to build; and can be runny if you don't wipe the brush off on the lip of the bottle before applying the color to your nail. Deal breaker? Definitely not! Loving this one for Thanksgiving ladies! This is 2 coats.

Booties On Broadway is a Navy Blue Creme. My first navy of the season and I am feel. ing. it. Babes, Booties On Broadway is the color if you dig dark and decadent. It has that vampy feel that is TDF for the chillier months, and legit pairs perfectly with everything! Formula here was fabulush! It's creamy and dreamy and reaches opacity in just. one. coat. Not gonna lie, it likes to get flirty with your cuticles, so keep a Q-Tip around to wipe away any unwanted messes. Loves it! This is 1 coat.

Empire Shade of Mind is a Charcoal Silver Metallic. I'm not gonna lie, when I saw that Essie had released this shade for autumn, the first thing that went through my mind was metallic silver? for fall? why? And no, that reaction wasn't based on the fact that I have a love/hate relationship with silver polishes {because I do}; it just felt like it didn't fit with the season. But then I put it on, and saw that it wasn't your basic silver, but a charcoal silver. A fall-apropos hue that felt perfect yet unexpected. But I digress...Empire Shade of Mind is a vampy shade for the girl who wants something deep without entering oxblood, ebony, or navy territory. It's smoky and seductive in a seriously sophisticated way. And really, who can resist that? Formula was flawless. You can reach opacity in just one coat; but I went with two to try and conceal brushstrokes. Get it girls! This is 2 coats.

AVAILABILITY: Ulta.

PRICE: $18.00 for the 4PC Mini Set; $9.00 for each full-size bottle.

NOTD: OPI Peru Nail Lacquer Collection in Grandma Kissed A Gaucho

Three coats of OPI Peru Nail Lacquer in Grandma Kissed A Gaucho. Purple Crelly.

TBH despite the fact that purple is a fall color; I found that it was a shade included in a lot of summer collections, so I've been feeling kiiind of purple-d out, and wasn't excited for this shade - until I applied it to my nails and felt all the heart eyes!

Babes, Grandma Kissed A Gaucho is such. a. beauty. Like, I can't even! The formula here is super thin due to the fact that it's a seriously scrummy crelly; but it builds to opacity so beautifully, and leaves a gorgeous shine behind. I'm going to say it: if you're only allowed one purple in your polish collection, it should be this bad boy!

NOTD: Morgan Taylor Platinum Professional Nail Lacquer in Liquid Bling

Three coats of Morgan Taylor Platinum Professional Nail Lacquer in Liquid Bling. Silver Holographic.

Le sigh... is it too early to start thinking about NYE nail colors? No? Awesomeness, because this one is my top pick!

If you love silver polishes, Liquid Bling is the crème de la crème because it shines, like. whoa. The formula is a liiiittle thin and sheer on coat one; but it builds to opacity beautifully with literally no muss or fuss. Highly recommend this beauty for all of your holiday 2018 gatherings!

OPI Peru Nail Lacquer Collection Mini Pack Swatches + Review

I live for fall nail colors; so, of course, I couldn't resist grabbing OPI's Peru Nail Lacquer Collection Mini Pack! Not gonna lie, some of the shades felt like a stretch for me in terms of autumn-apropos hues; but on the nail they are all absolutely brilliant, and perfect for summer to fall or fall to winter. Peep the prettiness below!

Grandma Kissed A Gaucho is a Purple Crelly. This is 3 coats.

Suzi Will Quechua Later! is a Lavender Creme. Fact: I lo-lo-lo-love this luscious lavender! Tbh, lavender is not a shade that I equate with autumn; but this one is too pretty to pass up regardless of the time of year! Suzi Will Quechua Later! is a positively brilliant transitional shade - combining bubblegum pink and purple to create this masterpiece! The formula is just as lush as the color - it applies smoothly, and has great coverage. A heavier hand could get away with 2 coats; but I opted for three to achieve the decadent shade you see here. Necessary purchase babes! Trust. This is 3 coats.

Como Se Llama? is a Burgundy Creme. Burgundy polishes during the months of November / December just get me. I mean, they're so incredibly glam without being in your face, amiright?! Como Se Llama? is a brown-leaning burgundy that looks like melted chocolate on the nail {yuuum-o!}. The formula is easy breezy to work with {leveling beautifully and requiring two easy swipes for full coverage}; but has the potential to stain cuticles during application if you're not careful - so keep a Q-Tip nearby. Perfection for fall and well into the winter months! This is 2 coats.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Mountains is a Rosy Nude Creme. This shade! Honestly, I've contemplated Somewhere Over he Rainbow Mountains over the past few days, and I still can't figure out whether I like it or loathe it; thus, I'm going to chalk it up to a love/hate relationship. Somewhere Over the Rainbow Mountains is an interesting shade for fall - falling into the nude category; but being sliiightly darker, so it adds a bit of depth. I actually like it for autumn, as it has a cozy, café au lait feel to it; I'm just not sure if I like it on me. For those of you who are feeling it, however, the formula was primo - applying in a smooth, fluid fashion, and drying quickly. If basics are your thing, you'll dig this beauty! This is 2 coats.

AVAILABILITY: Ulta.

PRICE: $10.50 for the 4PC Mini Set; $10.50 for each full-size bottle.

True story: never have I ever...seen the movie Grease. I know, right?! Nevertheless, when I spotted OPI's Grease Nail Lacquer Mini 4-Pack, I knew I had to add it to my collection. The pastels! Was It All Just A Dream? is a Mint Creme. Le sigh. It has been far. too. long. since I've indulged in a mint polish, and let me tell you, this bad boy has brought back my obsession! Was It All Just A Dream? is a glorious pastel that harbors that bright yet light trait that I can never get enough of. Formula here was good. I did find the first and second coats to be a bit patchy; but the third evened it all out. Totally planning to wear this shade all. winter. long. This is 3 coats.

You're the Shade That I Want is a Raspberry Creme. I live for shades like this at the start of fall, so you know all I could think was I've got to have it when I spotted it! That rich raspberry hue; that creamy, sumptuous finish. Can I get a yum-o?! You're the Shade That I Want bridges the gap between playful pink and va-va-voom vixen that makes it feel sophisticated yet sassy. The formula is positively brilliant! You could easily get away with one coat for full coverage; but I opted for two to be on the safe side. Babes, you need this shade in your life! This is 2 coats.

Don't Cry Over Spilled Milkshakes is a White Creme. True story: I've been obsessively watching Riverdale {hi Jughead!}, so the name of this one totes had me thinking of Pop's Diner! As you all know, I live for a white mani, so this color right here is legit making my summer magical. A little on the thin side; I found that three coats was perfect for reaching opacity - no big when you take into consideration that the staying power was phenom {we're talking 6 days and counting with no chips!}. Get this beauty babes! This is 3 coats.

Pink Ladies Rule the School is a Medium Pink Creme. Soooo...pink may be my favity-fave color; but it's not always my top pick for nail shades because it can feel a bit...boring at times. NOTD: China Glaze Ready to Wear FW'18 in Throwing Suede

Two coats of China Glaze Ready to Wear FW'18 Nail Lacquer Collection in Throwing Suede. Putty Creme.

Where do I begin?

Throwing Suede is an interesting shade. It's not white, it's not nude; it's more of an in-between vanilla hue with a subtle rosy undertone that is v pretty and will capture the hearts of those who love a clean, neutral nail. For me, however, I found it a bit...boring.

I'm not going to lie; the formula is good {decent consistency, and quick coverage}, but overall I feel as if it's meh, and just doesn't do anything for me. I think this would look best on a darker skintone, as it would really standout. If you're not a fan of neutrals, pass on this one. Womp womp.
