The Thinking Lingerie

It is not enough to effuse intelligence and sophistication solely through outward appearances. A true businesswoman can’t cut it in the boardroom via boxy blazers alone. She is unable to make professional strides relying merely upon harsh tailored pantsuits, or wrinkled, knee-length pencil skirts. No, the career woman lurking beneath our shy facades and shapeless office attire cannot truly blaze to life without a little incentive; a smidgen of seductiveness. It is not something that has to be seen on the outside, mind you; nor must it break the bank. The true way for us to make a change, to get things done, to better ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally in our careers and our personal lives is by feeling…slightly saucy, perhaps; by knowing that we are sensual, captivating, flirtatious, provocative, fetching, passionate…even if it is underneath it all. Perchance the best way to accomplish all this and more is through Smart & Sexy. Be smart about your accessory purchases. Don't spend countless dollars to
come home with dissatisfaction. Buy for prices you can afford, only on
the internet. Find everything from custom pieces to loose diamonds.

Determined to bring affordable luxury to the budget conscious, Smart & Sexy stay true to their title by whipping up frou-frou confections that are both gorgeous to look at and comfortable to wear – that’s Smart – with the ability to give your confidence a boost – that’s Sexy.
To tell you the truth, my darlings, Smart & Sexy may have gone completely unnoticed by me if not for the fact that I spotted the marvelous ad campaign for the four collections – VIP, Lace Ambition, Executive, and Sexy Sets – all shot by the divine David LaChapelle. Each image embodies the true power of a woman when decked out in frilly underthings, while casting a covetous hue over the crème de la crème of each collection.

The French Maid inspired look of VIP sticks to an all black and white palette that harbors plunging necklines, body-hugging bustiers, sweetheart cuts, and underwires all gussied up with ruffled trim, lace bodices, and pint-sized bows.
Lace Ambition is a collection drenched in feminine colors that embrace all the fun of being a girl. Babydoll nighties created for sleepovers full of pillow fights and boy talk. Lacy chemises and slips with ruffled embellishments. Victorian influenced bras sporting sweetheart necklines.

Elegance is what the Executive collection is all about. Each piece remains smart and sophisticated in terms of cut, but flashes a peek-a-boo glance at a playful side through bright colors, and lace trim in identical shades. Tempting teddies, chic chemises, haute hipsters; there’s no denying that the Executive is a unit dripping with power.
No girl should have to suffer through days of mismatched, seen-better-days lingerie; or so that’s what the Sexy Sets believe. Made for everyday wear in mind, the Sexy Sets are full of brightly colored beauties made of high-shine satin that makes you feel smart and sophisticated even when you’re wearing a pair of ratty sweats.

Think about it, ladies…which collection makes you weak in the knees?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to Smart & Sexy for the pictures.

I love that they're promoting be smart and sexy. The second set actually looks like a business suit in undergarments. These are amazing.

I spend most of my time in the embarassing cotton breifs, but when I *do* wear something sexy and matching under my work clothes I always feel a bit smug. :D

Such great photos! Love the neon ones ... can't wait for the day where I can wear lingerie whenever I'd like ... it'd be embarrassing having to wash that in a household with my parents haha.

Hope you have a great weekend :)

I remember getting neon lingerie by Deborah Marquit back in the late '80s/early '90s, I'm pretty sure. I think she was the first person to do neon colors for undies!

I have an affinity for cute bras and panties for the very reason you mentioned. Knowing that I'm secretly hiding something cute and sexy under my clothes makes me feel kind of empowered. It's awesome.

I love the bold colors of this collection. I'd definitely wear the stuff in the last photo <3
