♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Wet Seal Destroy Crop Jean Jacket in Dark Sandblasted; Forever 21 Basic V-Neck Top in Grape; Mossimo Supply Co. Long Legging in Ebony via Target; Zodiac Panda Boot in Black; Forever 21 Antique Pendant Necklace.

Reading: Girl’s Best Friend (A Maggie Brooklyn Mystery) by Leslie Margolis. Given the fact that I have always harbored a desire to be a private investigator, I am utterly incapable of resisting books that center around amateur sleuths – the fact that the main character is eleven-years-old makes no difference to me…aimer l'amour!

Glamourizing: Nails: Essie Mint Candy Apple. If you have yet to try this shade out for yourself, I command you to do so tout de suite! Lips: mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Sexy. Eyes: mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Surreal.

Listening: Vanity by Lady Gaga.

Adoring: American Apparel’s Chambray Henley Shirt Dress. Coupled with Club Monaco Wool Thigh-Highs; cinched with Rag & Bone’s Extra Long Skinny Belt; or styled with SPANX’s Tight End Tights and Sam Edelman’s Vancouver Lace Up Suede Booties. The possibilities are truly endless, non? Cookie swap parties complete with good company and scrummy sweets! Whispery frocks that juxtapose between sweet and seductive a la Alice + Olivia’s Fierra T Back Dress.

Watching: A Christmas Story. This is le so-called test viewing before TBS’ 24 Hours of A Christmas Story which I indulge in every single year without fail. Christmas would be incomplete without multiple viewings, mais oui?

Desiring: Auntie Mame: An Irreverent Escapade by Patrick Dennis. Rumor has it that Auntie Mame is a cross between a grown-up version of Kay Thompson’s Eloise and Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland; therefore, I feel as if the time has come for me to meet her! Sam Edelman Shalin Faux Fur Boots – preferably in the Smokestack Gray shade. Dear Shalin, I have thought about you long and hard for the past 3.5 weeks and I have come to the conclusion that it may be time to welcome you into my wardrobe. Aimer l'amour! Sunbeam Cupcake Maker – a pink frosting-covered cupcake-shaped contraption with the capability of making six cupcakes in less than ten minutes. Sold! Le besoin chronomètre l'infinité!

Quoting: Faran Krentcil - “It’s like, your life is a pair of amazing, limited-edition Louboutins. You can either wear them, or just look at them.”

Awaiting: Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn.

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

I never seen "A Christmas Story," but I did stick my tongue to a frozen pole when I was young and oh so impressionable! I'm so glad that you bought Dash and Lily's Book of Dares. I haven't read it yet, but I think I may start on Friday, since that's the official kick off to the Christmas season. Happy Thanksgiving Eve, mon ami.

This week was pretty normal but yesterday my 3 year old niece went to the hospital. She had a fever of 104. She is still there, and we don't know what is wrong with her. Things are a little hectic.
