♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Forever 21 Basic Racerback Tank in Black; Mossimo Supply Co. Denim Legging – Acid Wash via Target; Zodiac Panda Boot in Black; Forever 21 Antique Pendant Necklace; Rhinestone Panda Ring via Forever 21.

Reading: Mary Poppins in the Kitchen: A Cookery Book with a Story by P.L. Travers. Who better to steal recipes from than Miss Mary Poppins?

Glamourizing: Nails: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark – this is one of the très few nail colors I will wear for weeks at a time. Lips: mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in Peek-A-Boo. Oui, oui, my loves; the nude hue is just as playful as its coquettish moniker - j’adore! Eyes: CoverGirl Line Exact Liquid Liner in Very Black.

Listening: Christmas Don’t Be Late by Alvin & The Chipmunks. Christmas isn’t Christmas without this song; plus, it makes me think of Almost Famous. Amour!

Adoring: Tailored shorts styled over sheer tights and paired with oversized sweaters/ponchos and knee-high boots. L'amour, l'amour, l'amour! Afternoons spent pouring over holiday-themed mail order catalogs from J. Crew, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and Free People – the usual suspects, to be sure! Eugenia Kim Berets – specifically the quartet of glamorous girls known as Valentina, Madeline, Isla, and Zoe.

Watching: Elf. Un petit confession if you’ll bear with me, lovers…after seeing this film for the first time, I answered my cell phone with “Erika the Elf, what’s your favorite color?” a la Buddy himself for an entire year. Embarrassing, non?

Desiring: Mossimo Supply Co. Wrap Sweater Coat – Charcoal. Chunky, fair isle knits are my weakness; that is all. ROSEGOLD Genie Suede Platform Booties in Taupe. Swoon! The Royal Tenenbaums. I have heard far too many amazing things about this film over the years. Besoin!

Quoting: Carrie Bradshaw - “The fact is, sometimes it’s really hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes. That’s why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.”

Awaiting: The release of Jessica Schroeder’s Recipes for Style: A Cookbook for Your Closet. I am obsédé with her blog, and just know that I will feel the same about her literary debut. April 2011 cannot come soon enough!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

Don't you love fall and winter fashion? I like the sound of those tailored shorts with boots. I liked the look of gauchos a couple years back, too, with the high boots, but am not seeing them anymore :/
