Thrifty Thursday: French Connection Wendy Cotton Dress for Less

My loves, to your left you will find French Connection’s wondrous Wendy Cotton Dress; to the right allow your pretty peepers to fall upon the beauty that is C. Jace’s fabulous Frou Frou Black Dress.

While the French Connection charmer comes crafted with a banded waist and an exposed zipper along the back, two things that the C. Jace gem lacks; for just $59.00, as opposed to the $198.00 required to add Wendy to your wardrobe, it is just as capable of kicking your little black dress collection up a notch – at a price that no frugalista can refuse!

Will French Connection tempt you into being a big spender, or will C. Jace inspire you to save?

Fashionably yours!

So adorable. I'd really have to look at the instructions on how to wash it...I'm sure. But wow, so identical.

I like the cleaner lines on the C.Jace, so if I was choosing one, I'd pick that based on the style alone.

Such an adorable dress! And what a score the cheaper one is. It's a nice alternative to the plain little black dress.

And thanks for your sweet comment :)

What a great find!!!! Beautiful dress.

I like the cheaper one because it appears to be a tiny bit longer than the other, but still really cute!

Oh this is a hard one because I really do like the silhouette of the French Connection one--and sadly these days $200 for a dress sounds reasonable!

I adore this dress! Considering how similar they are, I would definitely go with the C. Jace. Now only to find an occasion to wear this for!

Oh that's a cute dress! I like the French Connection version's banded waist, but no-way-jose on the price (at the moment anyway)! :):)

Both dresses are gorgeous! The C. Luce is such an amazing price, though, so I think I'd go with that one...as much as I love French Connection!

That just screams to go dancing. I think I like the right one, just because the frills are a little less featherish.

I'd buy the cheaper one because I always wind up looking pregnant in things with belted waists. It's very pretty! I'll think about it!! =)

The sleeves are a little too much for me. I don't really think that I'd choose any of these dresses. They are beautiful, though. Have a good Thursday, E, lots of Damon and Stefan goodness tonight.

Ha! high shoulders .... I've been talking so much about shoulder pads lately and here it is a very good variation to the standard shoulder pad.... I take the C. Luce.

French Connection wins! The sleeves are more dramatic, and the tailoring is much better. And a zipper is always a bonus! I'd be willing to pay for it.
