♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Wet Seal Destroy Crop Jean Jacket in Dark Sandblasted; Forever 21 Essential V-Neck Cami in White; Forever 21 Sequin Glam Mini; Nine West Convinceme Boot in Medium Brown.

Reading: City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments Series # 1) by Cassandra Clare. There is a très distinct possibility that this is my new favorite book series. Oh, how I long to be Clary Fray. J’adore!

Glamourizing: Nails: Essie Mink Muffs. Lips: mark Glow Baby Glow Luxe Hook Up Lip Gloss in Sun Luxe. Eyes: mark’s i-glimmer Illuminating Eye Color in Bronzed.

Listening: Don’t Trust Me by 3OH!3.

Adoring: Booties with bite – specifically, Joe’s Jeans’ Trailblazer Suede Combat Booties in Grey. Grunge + Glamour = Absolute Perfection. J'ai besoin de, j'ai besoin de, j'ai besoin de! Pretty in pink patent leather pouts a la that created by MAC Cosmetcs’ Peacocky Kissable Lipcolour in Enchantee. Ooh la la, Je pense que je suis dans l'amour! Paige Denim’s Skyline Ankle Skinny Jeans. I’m not sure what I love most about these – the fact that they are lightly deconstructed and wonderfully whiskered; or the incredibly charming moniker of the color…beachwood. Swoon!

Watching: Scooby Doo: The Movie. Regardless of what the critics said, I am kind of in love with this movie. Also…j’adore Daphne – I’m thinking of dressing as her for Halloween. Utterly adorbs, mais oui?

Desiring: 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Berry Wristlet with Studs in Lilac. The juxtaposition between pretty and punk is too great for me to resist. Besides, a girl should never be without an accessory that is flirty and fashionable yet doubles as a weapon, should the need arise. Aimer l'amour d'amour! American Apparel’s Flower Bud Crochet Lace Jumper in Nude, Black, and White - oui, I want one in all three colors. Can you imagine how saucy this will look topping a neon-colored bikini on the beach during evening bonfires accompanied by cute boys harboring sticky S’Mores come summertime? Le sigh! BB Dakota Owens Sequin Jacket. Umm…hi, I adore you. This jacket is the material version of my dreams. Seriously. Be still my heart!

Quoting: Epictetus - “Know first, who you are; and then adorn yourself accordingly.”

Awaiting: Trapunto Stitched Cropped Bomber Jacket in Cognac from Arden B. Finally, after months of searching high and low for the ideal cognac-hued piece, perfection has entered my life. I cannot wait for it to arrive!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

What is that book series about? I need to find some good reading material these days. I'm in the middle of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordian. It's kind of embarassing because the book is really written for twelve year olds... but I guess "Young Adult" fiction is my guilty pleasure. Reading those kinds of books usually goes pretty quickly, it's entertaining, and I don't have to think too hard (after a long semester of history and theology classes, I'm glad to not have to think to hard about what I'm reading, haha).

I totes read that whole series twice. If you like the first book, you will love each book even more as you progress through books two and three. (I didn't love the first book, but I was encouraged to keep reading. Glad I did!)
