♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Heritage 1981 Cable Knit Cardigan in Cream via Forever 21; Forever 21 Essential V-Neck Cami in Coral; Forever 21 Classic Skinny Jeans in Medium Denim; Dolce Vita Jollen in Nude; Rhinestone Arrow Connector Ring via Forever 21.

Reading: Fudge Cupcake Murder (Hannah Swensen Series # 5) by Joanne Fluke. One of le scrummiest book series you will ever lay hands on…pure decadent indulgence!

Glamourizing: Nails: OPI’s Bubble Bath. A color that is every bit as effervescent as its playful moniker would have you believe. J’adore! Lips: mark Shimmer Down! Lip Gloss in Feels Ripe. Eyes: mark Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven (Black).

Listening: Buzzin’ by Shwayze (feat. Cisco Adler). Summer is not summer without a splash of Shwayze, J'ai raison?

Adoring: Midi-skirts. Short enough to show off your new ROSEGOLD Pana Suede Platform Sandals; long enough to make one feel ladylike, demure, and très Mad Men-esque. My current favorite? American Apparel’s Mid-Length Accordion Pleat Skirt. Aimer l'amour! Chic, cute, charming, and colorful baking accessories a la Babycakes’ Cakepop Maker, Cupcake Maker, and Whoopie Pie Maker – all via Cambria Cove. Such a simple way of transforming your easy, breezy kitchen into a scrummy-smelling bakery, n'est-ce pas? Printed pretties that add a touch of whimsy juxtaposed with sheer sophistication – specifically Antik Batik’s Kea Print Long Skirt, Alice + Olivia’s Printed Butterfly Shorts, Karen Zambos’ Vintage Couture Gemma Long Dress, and American Apparel’s Floral Chiffon Double-Layered Shirred Waist Skirt. The last of which would look marvelous topped with a denim jacket, and styled with riding boots, mais oui?

Watching: The Breakfast Club. Ummm…hello, may I please have Claire’s (aka Molly Ringwald) entire ensemble (boots and shoulder bag included)? Je meurs! Seriously too fabulous for words. As is the film, mais oui?

Desiring: Joie’s Higher and Higher Wedge Sandals in Indian Tan. It is a complete and utter injustice that these are sold out in my size! I am totes stalking them until they are restocked – my summer wardrobe is incomplete without them! Le American Fashion Cookbook via Shopbop. A chance to discover the favorite recipes of everyone from Isaac Mizrahi to Carolina Herrera? Evanouissement! It speaks to the fashionable foodie within. How could I possibly resist? Pendleton for Opening Ceremony’s Denim Shorts. I imagine it would be impossible for one not to feel like a true vintage Vargas Girl when donning these dreams. Le besoin, le désir, adorer!

Quoting: Helen Keller - “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

Awaiting: Summer and the City: A Carrie Diaries Novel by Candace Bushnell. Finally, after months and months of waiting, the day of reckoning – April 26, 2011 – is almost upon us. Insert happy strut here, lovers; I am pre-ordering my copy tout de suite!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

Ah. I love the accordion pleat skirt and the double layer shirred waist skirt as well. I have to go to the American Apparel store because I didn't even know that there was one in Milwaukee until a month or two ago. I'm also awaiting Summer and the City. The Carrie Diaries was really good. Hope you have a lovely day, E!

I lovelovelove those platform sandals! The mini dessert makers look awesome for parties, and everyday. Sometimes you just want a little dessert, and that wouldn't heat the whole house up. I really like the Breakfast Club too.
